The main issue is not posting, lets say insufficient results not bad, this kind of results by the real hair loss sufferers. The following disgraceful comments, unrelenting attacks, insults, reflecting discredit upon the physician/clinic by the other other members might be the matter for legal issues and should be avoided. Hair caliber can not be measured, and is very trivial matter for HT. There is no practical value of it. Just the hiar physicians who like advertising use such a bright words to confuse the uninformed or misdirected people/hair loss sufferers. NOTE: Generally speaking, there are many exceptions; people from the north parts of the world (Scandinavians, Englishmen, Americans, Caucasians, blonds) are always better candidates for hair transplant. They may even go high NW hair losses, but their donor areas have higher capacity/potential to give grafts safely. Although hairs' caliber is generally thinner at those races, results are much better for the density and natural appearance

Very nice result for one session of FUT HT. I think this hair loss sufferer will go to second session of HT for coverage of top-crown areas, treatment has not completed yet. Due to the closure of the strip wound and approximation of the wound edges, the donor area seems to be reduced (from top to back direction) and the top-crown area seems to be enlarged. But of course, pictures might be misleading in this respect. Congratulations for this nice, natural result. It also proves that, the results are generally patient dependent (patient's charactheristics), not physician dependent.

I think the results of HT operations should be evaluated at least one and half year later, not before -especially in men with older ages and long-standing hair losses. The patient has partial NW5 hair loss, since he has many good-quality original hairs over hair loss/transplant area, so I wonder if one session would be enough for coverage if he had total baldness over the same area? What was the size of the strip?, Lenght and width? (for 3700 grafts) I suggest clinics' FUT presentations should also show the picture of the strips and immediate post-op pictures of transplanted and donor areas. FUE physicians commonly provide this information.

Hi KO, I think Propecia has not worked much on your head (maybe only side effects?), and you are about to go hair transplant. Since you have very generalized hair loss/thinning in all potential areas of hair loss, I think no need to wait more, and you may get first session of HT in soon time. I think better for you to get about 4000 grafts over those large area, and in future you may get one more session to increase the density more. Nothing to loose for you with HT now. I do not know whether you will prefer FUT or FUE, but, as a senior member, you know that only very long FUT strips extending from one temple to another (measure yours, it should be about 35 cm) can give about 3500-4500 grafts.
