    Interesting topic.

Can anyone tell the real difference in option 1 and option 2 please.

I believe option 1- 100% incision done by Dr Sethi/Bansal

Option 2- Lets say Only 20% incisions done by Dr Sethi/ Bansal?

    Would this be right?

Your understanding is absolutely correct only difference in option 2 is upto 20%. IMO you should go with option 1. Dr Sethi or Dr Bansal they are supremly talented. I will repeat again you should do your full research  only choose your surgeon when you have full confidence in them. Hairline design, placement of grafts and extraction should be three key factors you should consider before choosing your surgeon. Compare lot of results from different doctors and then make your final decision.

Thanks Azzy thats a great suggestion well done. Patient safety is the number 1 priority.

Well done to the Clinic for upgrading on your recommendation.  Thats a win win situation for everybody concerned.

Thanks and all the best for now

That is the best thing about Eugenix @paddyirishman They always listen to their patients feedback and Dr Pradeep Sethi makes sure there's is no delay in implementing those suggestions given by their patients. In my post i have mentioned lot of things where i have told dr sethi that some members have raised concerns about your pricing, involvement of senior doctors in surgery and he made sure all those concerns gets clarified by publishing missing information on their website straightaway. After spending some time with Dr sethi and his team i have realised one thing they just don't want to make money they want to become best in the world. I am confident they will achieve that very soon.

    Thanks for the update ahmedabad_guy

great write up and great sharing of the doctors notes.

Did the doctors mention that us guys from this side of the world have thinner hair for hair transplant and is more challenging to the Indian guys.?

What about the guy from Chicago? What about his hair characteristics and did he do a write up anywhere?

    ......All the best for now......

    Hey @paddyirishman

I got chance to speak with Dr Sethi and he said they do 3-4 Caucasians patients every month. He said they have created few posts here in the past. All the recent surgeries they have performed in last six months they only have before and immediate post op pics only. I have told them if possible please create post with that so prospective patients like you get some confidence in making decisions. If you have any more question just tag @DrPradeep Sethi and he will reply back to you. They are trying to be as active as possible on HTN.

Hair transplant surgeons deserve to be paid in accordance with their skill and results. Results come first. This is an elective procedure and a business at the end of the day, if you don’t like the prices, don’t have surgery it’s really quite simple.

Trying to make hair transplant surgeons out as villains because they don’t charge what you feel is appropriate is absurd and ludicrous.

very well said @Melvin-Moderator . We should judge surgeons on the basis of the results they produce not on the basis of the price they charge. I have said that many times in the past. Glad some one else thinks same as me

I thought that Dr. Pradeep would do 100% of the extractions.   I was a little surprised to see that he was involved in only 30% of the extractions.   Why is this?

Harin...Do you remember if Dr. Arika was involved in 100% of your extractions?

I was aware before my surgery that he will not be involved in 100% extractions so i was well prepared for that.

    Hey @paddyirishman

I am going to talk to dr sethi regarding something else today i will raise this with him and will come back to you with his response.

Chicago guy is Doctor himself he was travelling back to USA yesterday he did tell me he will create his post once he is in States. So just wait and watch. He was indian too so i guess his hair characteristics was similar to me.

  7. @Torip

I don’t think they over charge their patients. If you read carefully on their cost page patients if anyone does advance booking before 3 months they gets 20% discount too. Their prices are already very  competitive compare to the services they offer. I am not sure what else they could do. When I was there I have raised most of the genuine concerns raised by members I am grateful to Dr Sethi and his team have taken my feedback in positive manner. As far as cheer leading is concerned so none of us are getting paid by Eugenix to promote them we are appreciating their work because we personally had great experience with Dr Pradeep Sethi and his team when we had our own surgery so like you we are also working towards in the best interest of this community. You are not the only one. FYI no doctors will perform 100% extraction because it is long job and there are chances doctors will lose concentration so stop spreading false information. In my case Dr Pradeep Sethi performed 30% of extraction and rest was performed by other doctors.Trust me I will be the first one to criticize Dr Sethi and his team if my results doesn’t turns out to be good so far I am happy with my experience and I am going to share my experience with everyone. I am not here to argue with anyone I am here to share my experience with others who helped me during my time of research.

Maybe their pricing was done hastily, and omitted actions. I think a bulleted list would be most helpful, and a complete list of HT items.

I think it's a great place to start, and is clear for the items listed. Unfortunately, anything that's not listed, the average person will assume it is not performed by the selected doc. Also, does it not mention the extractions because it could potentially confuse people (doc making the incisions for the removal, but leaving the follicle until it is used by doc/tech/other doc for their DHT method)?

Aesthetically, I like the simple and comparable descriptions. I do think the extraction phase is critically important, and should be mentioned. Again, this is a great format to continue to build on, and should remove a majority (if not all) of the pricing-doubt with Eugenix.

I am just glad that they have posted  their cost on website this will get rid of confusion some members had. I think they have tried their best to be as transparent as possible and clarified what services one will get if they choose any of their three packages. I had surgery with Dr Sethi and I can tell you even though he has completed hairline design, 100% slits and local anaesthesia he was monitoring my surgery from his office and was visiting operation theatre every one hour to check my progress. He did some grafts extractions  too in my case.

  9. Hello Guys,

Today is my seventh day after Hair Transplant. I will be uploading my pics after my first head wash soon.

    Experience with Eugenix:

I have stayed at Eugenix (In House Staying Facility) for 3 days after my HT. It’s good that I have stayed there because on the second day I bumped into a wall accidentally and one of my graft came out. Dr Sethi fixed it straightaway. I am in constant touch with Dr Sethi & Nelson (Counselor) since then. This is the best thing about Dr Sethi and his team, once you are there, they treat you like family member and they make sure they looked after you well. For example, on the second day after my surgery Dr Sethi took me and another patient who came from Chicago to one wonderful restaurant for dinner in Gurgaon. I mean this is very rare that Doctor taking you for Dinner, this shows that when it comes to hospitality, they will go to any extent to make sure you are very well looked after. Most of the patients I met during my stay, all told me one common thing they came to Eugenix because one of their colleagues, friend or relative had surgery done here and they are impressed with the results that is why they have chosen Eugenix. This shows their biggest source of business is word of mouth plus I have noticed at Eugenix every staff member goes out of their way to help you in any assistance you need during your stay. They try to build relationship with patients not just for one surgery, but they make sure if anything goes wrong, they are there to take responsibility and to fix it. Also, I noticed that their huge team is only doing hair transplant job and no other cosmetic practice. They all are focused with one pointedness to provide great results and the doctors are busy putting down their head only in doing great work to produce great results and giving great experiences to patients.

Now, I know why patients who had their surgery done with Dr Sethi or Dr Bansal in past were always praising Eugenix so much. It is all because Eugenix treats you like family members.

I also met some of their Ex-Patients who had surgery done and they had fantastic growth. Hope my results turns out to be same as them.

    Cost:

Since last few months lot of members on this forum were either confused about Eugenix pricing or had incorrect information. There is some good news for all those people. Eugenix have published their prices on their website.

Well in hindsight I suppose you could've gone for a more conservative V-shaped hairline, that area was just too much to be covered with 2.5k grafts. You'd probably have needed at least 3.5K.

What you could do now is trim it to 1mm and get SMP to fill in the gaps - you'd still have a great look trust me!

I think it is still early days for you. It is only 6.5 months you should wait for another 3-4 months then post your results and then let this community give their feedback.  Hopefully you will get decent results.

I am grade 4 and currently deciding between Dr Bhatti and Dr Sethi.

Dr Bhatti has clear pricing on website and Dr Sethi doesnt.

Can anyone please post cost per graft from back of head for Dr Sethi. Its a simple question so please post an answer for what is asked. I dont require any marketing people to write a long story here. Just post the price please.

    Thank you

    • Thanks 1
  12. I have just had my transplant 3 days ago with dr Pradeep Sethi. I can confirm that they don’t have two different pricing structure for Indians and non Indians. They do offer different packages depending on which doctor you choose for your surgery. They will be publishing price on their website in next few days.

  13. Thanks for your kind words. IMO Dr Sethi is best when it comes to producing results on consistent basis and it is purely because of their technique they are using.I will be uploading some notes he made for me to explain why DHT is more successful compare to traditional FUE. If you have made your mind up on Dr Sethi then just go ahead. I can assure you that you will not regret your decision. I am telling you that from my personal experience. Speak to Doctor clarify all your doubts and once your confident book your dates.
