    I'm the same age as you and I have my surgery in 3 weeks and idk man were not doing anything wrong,it's tough I've told nobody yet but it's more because I just don't want to talk about it until it's grown in.. I don't want to see people and get 'oh I guess it didn't work' and other silly comments,I think next year I'll be pretty open about it. Just do what you think is best think down the road a little bit good luck bud

    Caboki is great, I will say for the hairline to be careful as a little bit may brush onto your scalp throughout the day at least for me it's happened looks like dirt or dust but I do hope nobody notices lol

    I'm on the island and I never heard of him..i was in for a consultation with a different dr and met a patient who had almost all the grafts in his head already very similar hairloss to mine about 5 years older and I remember at first it was surreal I thought it was planned also so many similarities to me this guy had but I talked with all them for a few minutes and realized the dr was so quick to show me this guy because how similar are cases where I mean he was like yea he won't care and just brought me in and the guy was cool let me get in close and ask questions .now granted I went to a recommended surgeon and idk It was pretty easy to tell this guy was legit..your story screams red flag though

    I do apologize if it's been discussed but I entered it in search a few times and found nothing,but I was reading an article about 'follicept' yesterday and it actually mentioned a few things about hair loss I never heard of something called igf-1, it says it's been a known cure but couldn't be put into healthy/effective doses until now,there's not much info and it does look like something that won't work but I tho that about rogaine.

    This looks pretty cool gonna look into this,I'm going in for my procedure mid April and I've heard a few people recommend neck pillows folks use on airplanes also a towel or small blanket rolled up,just try and not move in your sleep for a week and find something that's comfortable that's what I plan on.. and wearing some type of gloves if the sites are itchy lol good luck sir

    I've been on fin for a year and a half with no sides..I do remember those first few days it was all that was on my mind and at times I felt off so I did all I could to relax and not think about it,there's billions of people with different beliefs and I always found it weird in clinical studies some of those taking a placebo suffered sides so I did want it to be in all in my head.ive had a physical recently and dr said my liver wasn't bei affected Wich I didn't even think of but yea definitely keep in touch with your dr about it if any concerns good luck

    So I had my consultation with dr feller about a week ago and he proposed 1800 fut grafts,he did say my donor is good..I feel we see eye to eye so far and I do realize/plan for further surgery givin my age, I am on finasteride for about 20 months and I think it has helped me keep some hair and I think the crown has benefited and I'm content with it for now..ultimately I'm looking for results that I feel comfortable with my hair again..I've been living with hats and bandanas for years now and worse part of that is I'm not really a 'hat guy' and never was so I'm always questioned about it and I've grown weary lol..so the plan Is to get me a hairline again and fill in all that mid-frontal area as my front little tuft/island is still good but behind it is very thin (I do wish I took out my phone and snapped a few shots of the hairline he proposed but o well) so if anybody has any thoughts/opinions if this seems like enough I do appreciate any input and my apologies in advance if this isn't the best write up but I never was the most attentive to details honestly in a perfect world I would ask two questions to a ht dr 1.will it work 2.how much

    Hey all..I'm not one to post much I've been on the forums for 2 years,I've been a member only a few months and I really don't want to get caught up in this but honestly some of the stuff I've read the past few months has made me rethink a ht,a lot of negative things and just unpositive things said about people's transplants( Wich is the last thing they'd need) and I truly was rethinking sharing my story In a few months and I'm not even going to any of these docs being so heavily debated.im 25 so I still am a bit nieve and I guess I thought people wouldn't do this sort of thing on a hair transplant forum but I guess it's such a big business and that's a way to make money for someone... Just to be clear I do trust this forum and honestly I got goosebumps when I saw this because I just had my consultation Thursday and I talked to my dr about the forum and he said how great it was before I could mention my reservations about it so I thought to give it some time..right on bill

    Fue into the scar after I'm all healed is something I plan on,I'm going to a pretty good surgeon so I hope he takes care of me but I under its still a risk..thanks for the insight busa and squatch

    Hey tommy thanks for the reply man..I'm meeting dr feller on the 12th of February I met him about a year and a half ago he said 1500 back then so and I've since got on meds and have my routine now so if my hair is still the Same like I think it is I think this guys gonna help change my life..I am still nervous but Its cold feet..I had oral surgery years back and it was the same thing and that surgery gave me an even better smile than before very different I know but I guess I have an idea of surgical procedures and the attention needed for the aftercare thanks again man sorry to ramble watch out for my first post in a few months if I rem correctly dr feller said he schedules the surgery 4 months after the consult

    im going in for an fut procedure in a few months and I was wondering if there can be anything that would give me an ideas of how the scar might heal..for instance As a kid I got stitches in my head about 5 times all of Wich healed nicely now I know this is very different but it was something that came to mind and I don't recall hearing or reading anything about it (possibly cause it's irrelevant) but hopefully it counts for something lol..sorry if this is in the wrong place the higher ups can move it to wherever it belong thanks!

    I know it's been a year but I have been trying to find a way to contact both of you,just for reassurance I suppose and to find out how you feel everything went I'm hoping to go to dr feller soon and honestly the delay is sheer nerves I'm freaking myself out one minute the next I'm wondering why I havent booked yet.if either of you fly cats can get back to me awesome

    Hey all,I believe this is my first post ever although I've be creeping for about a year and joined a few months back anywho back in July 2013 I had a consultation with A sugeon and he recommended 1700 grafts to the front we didn't really talk much about the vertex he said he'd be happy to do it,it was almost 2 years ago so memories fuzzy but I probably said the front was my concern as it still is.So since the consultation I started saving i got on finasteride then added minoxidil and nizoral I bought some caboki for when I feel like having hair I checked out people's journeys here and a few guys on YouTube and now I think I'm ready to get started myself.im a pretty easy going guy and imo I think a hair transplant would be good for me especially if future hair loss is minimal Wich would be super duper seen guys with a lot less then me achieve something I want so I'm optimistic.i hope to contact the dr by the end of the week to set up a date possibly another consultation if that makes any sense, I'm not really sure how things go I suppose that's part of why I'm posting this,I'm excited I've had positive vibes these last few weeks I really think I'm making the right choice.
