Wow, you definitely have a interesting case! I am happy to hear Dr. Rahal's way of handling this situation. I know that most other Docs would not be offering you this solution. I am happy for you! However, if I were you I would not jump right back into another surgery right away. I would choose a Doc and schedule the surgery for next year. Here's why- first, your head still needs more time to heal- just in general. Next, you had a lot of graphs extracted and you already have donor issues. So, in a couple of months you might not want another surgery and maybe accept your okay results and fill in the donor with smp. These are things you might want to consider. Just my opinion. Whatever you choose, I hope you have a happy ending with this! And finally, from me and my family- Thank you for your service!

Sean, can you provide updated pictures? I know you are not happy but maybe it is not as bad as you think. Also, have you tried Rogaine on your donor? I think that might help. Good luck and hope you have a positive outcome soon.

I had 2 fut or strip procedures with Dr.Wolf. The first in 05 and the second in 07. I will post pics tomorrow. And will document my first fue with Rahal in March.

Thanks guys. Since I am going to Rahal I will follow his instructions and stop now- 1 month before. However, I had 2 strips with Dr. Wolf in the past and stopped just 1 week before with no issues.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not having any work in my crown- only hairline. So, would it be OK to still apply it to the crown only?

I am having a fue procedure with Rahal at the end of March. I was told to stop Rogaine now. I have been on it with great results for 10 years and know that I will have a big she'd but will follow the instructions. I was wondering if all Doctors require stopping Rogaine one month out? And besides blood loss what is the main reasons. Thanks
