  1. There’s a lab here in LA owned by Bradley Martin a bodybuilder/YouTuber. They test everything.
  2. You can purchase the topical and test your own blood serum DHT before and after. It’s not difficult at all to do. Once I get my hands on it that’s what I will do and post it on YouTube. There’s no need for peer-reviews to test that.
  3. @pomloe You’ve created two threads without providing any pictures. Looks like you did and then removed them.I’m locking this thread until you choose to share images, so we can see that you’re genuine.
  4. I highly doubt it will be a peer-reviewed paper. There’s really no need for that either, although it would be nice if a pharmaceutical company could develop it and get it FDA approved, then there would be peer-reviewed papers.
  5. ^this if you’re Norwood 7 Eugenix is the best clinic and they’re the same price as the good Turkish clinics.
  6. Don't do the Keratin treatment, it will ruin your hair. My friend has naturally curly hair and he has hair of the gods. After he did the treatment he looked like he was slightly thinning. It burnt his hair.
  7. You don’t have aggressive thinning in the back, it’s hard to be sure at this length. The good news is your crown looks healthy. If you can preserve what you have, you won’t need many grafts. Preservation>transplantation.
  8. Looks Norwood 5 to me, but yes lets see the crown.
  9. What does the back look like? It does loom fairly aggressive to me.
  10. That’s awesome, I hope you share your experience here. Im curious to see how it looks.
  11. There’s been some questions regarding the wiry texture of hair post-op. Primarily, what are the causes, and how long does it last. The Causes The main cause of this texture is trauma caused from the hair transplant. So is your surgeon to blame? No. Hair transplantation by nature causes trauma, you are excising hair follicles and then transplanting them, that is surgical trauma to your scalp, it it wasn’t you wouldn’t need anesthesia. At first hair grows vellus thin and light, as it grows it may start to kink and curl. This is absolutely normal. It will not last forever trust me. How long does it last The timeframe may vary between person to person, but in my experience it lasted over a full year. Below is a picture of my hair at 14 months post-op. As you can see there’s still a good deal of curl and kink, even with pomade. The last set of pictures are at 3 years post-op, the hair has no kinks or curls and without any product. 14 months post-op 3 Years post-op
  12. For me, the wiry appearance lasted around a year. It started calming down around 18 months.
  13. I believe you’re better suited for FUT and FUE combination. That way you can get the max hair from the safest spot. If you stick to only FUE some of those hairs can thin over time, given your retrograde alopecia.
  14. Yes overall thinning, perhaps it would look more homogeneous with the retrograde alopecia. You’re definitely more limited with your donor.
  15. It looks thin, but at that length I’m not sure smp will help. You need to shave down short for smp illusion to work.
  16. @hairlosscpa how does your hair look shorter?
  17. It’s best to consult with many physicians, not just one or two. As for the claims that Dr. Arshad is not worthy of recommendation. That’s an absolutely ridiculous posts made oddly by someone who just joined and has 15 posts. That should be a huge red flag to anyone reading. Physicians are not only chosen for one-off results whether good or bad, but rather a collective of their cases, as well as their ethics and integrity. I will say that Dr. Arshad has some of the best ethics in the industry and he’s been always there for his patients bending over backwards to help. I can personally vouch for that. Beware of self-appointed experts that just joined. They are almost always undercover schills, someone’s duplicate account, or a previously banned member. None of which are good.
  18. You may also contact Dr. Bicer, she’s a female herself. https://www.hairtransplantnetwork.com/physician/Turkey/Ozlem-Bicer/694
  19. Swelling doesn’t hurt, but you will look pretty bad. The whole you’re fine in a few days is not true. Expect to be out for two full weeks. FUT healing times are longer.
