  1. ^This you need to have your hair at a certain length to have the illusion of density.
  2. Happy growing Vann, thank your for participating in our community. I look forward to following your progress 🙌🏼
  3. Dr. Camacho is a solid choice. His ethics and surgical protocol is top-notch.
  4. But you will also make more money. No one stays stagnant. I’ve advanced my career considerably since my first HT in 2014. Although the prices may have gone up slightly, so did my salary. Never let cost dictate your decision. As I said, if you’re not willing to save and invest in yourself. Do nothing. Shaving is free. It is much worse to get a botched hair transplant, than it is to be bald! You will end up spending a lot more money, just to look normal. Not a smart gamble.
  5. It’s difficult, because the hair mills will throw money at these influencers. Their demographic is the 18-34 demographic, which is more likely to be cost-sensitive. Hair transplants take a great deal of research and time. There’s not enough channels out there to be honest. If you have ideas on how to create a YouTube channel, you should do it. While I don’t have a big following on YouTube. I will definitely help. I’m all about getting the right information out there, if there’s more channels, the better.
  6. The thing is Dr. Arocha wasn’t aware of these mental issues, I’m sure if he was aware he wouldn’t have done it. If a patient refuses medication for religious/spiritual beliefs, then that’s generally accepted. Just like vaccination waivers. Unfortunately, there’s not a form that patients fill out disclosing their mental illness. Any how, this is a duplicate topic. I’ll be closing this, and further responses can be done on the original thread.
  7. I believe Nader is $2.50 per graft. Something like that. I think affordable falls within $2.50-$5 per graft. I paid over $5 per graft in my first surgery and I only made 50k a year. By no means was I rich. So, the average person with a decent job should be able to afford these prices. The problem is when people say “I’m only willing to spend _ on surgery” if that’s the case don’t get surgery. If you’re not willing to invest in yourself, which is the gift that keeps on giving, do nothing. That’s never a bad option.
  8. Indeed, supply and demand. The only logical way to reduce the wait times is to increase the price, which will cause many to go elsewhere and make reasonable wait times. There’s a market for everyone.
  9. Wow that’s a shame. He should hire more experienced coordinators to help. There are other great doctors. You should consult with Dr. De Freitas, Dr. Bisanga, Dr. Mwamba, Dr. Feriduni, to name a few in Europe.
  10. This was posted already. Dr. Arocha posted his response, which was fair. Hi all, Dr. Arocha here. This is a patient of mine. In fact, he has been a patient of mine for many years. Every patient who comes through our doors is different, and we personalize a treatment plan based on what is best for them. We did not do any work in exchange for advertising – he paid full price for this procedure. Due to the patient's spiritual and religious beliefs, he chose not to do the surgery with local anesthesia, and I respected his wishes. It is a personal choice to take drugs or have local anesthesia administered; although the vast majority of patients choose the traditional method that includes the use of local anesthesia. I have a long and extensive experience with pain management, having run a pain clinic for more than a decade in the past. I am always sensitive and looking for non-verbal signs of pain and discomfort. The spiritual and calm that this patient exhibited was impressive. At no time did he grimace, or show any signs of distress. He was 100% relaxed, dozing in and out of sleep, listening to audiobooks and had a pleasant day. While the patient was comfortable, halfway through the surgery, I tapped out. I did not want to compromise his outcome, so I needed to control the bleeding to increase density in certain areas. While meditation is not yet mainstream in medical practice, the power of meditation and mind over matter is unquestioned. There are certain practices across the U.S. who are starting to use meditation, acupuncture, and other alternative techniques in lieu of traditional anesthesia and narcotics. While it is fine to discuss, I ask that you respect this patient and his choice in his care. Wishing you all the best in these trying times and hope that we all can achieve inner peace and freedom. Dr. Arocha
  11. It depends, it’s hard to get big only focusing on hair. Derek got primarily big talking about fitness, but he is diverse, fitness, steroids, and social issues. He adds hair in there, but its not his main focus. Mr. Rolandas has a good channel, of course, not as big as Bret or Conor, to get that size there’s almost always a gimmick. For Brett it was “Super model does_” those videos blew him up. I remember when he had under 100k subs. Conor did the shirtless pick up videos. Less educational and more entertainment. From the beginning I wanted to focus on education. No nonsense, real content that could help the viewer. No gimmicks, no nonsense. But with YouTube algorithm, it’s much harder to grow. If you make a YouTube channel, the message will help someone regardless, even if you only have 100 subs. Don’t let that deter you.
  12. Don’t miss today’s podcast. It starts in 2 hours. Streaming on our YouTube channel https://youtube.com/c/HairTransplantNetwork
  13. He’s gonna ruin his perfectly good hairline for money and content 🤦🏻‍♂️
  14. I have no experience with these clinics, but generally, the cheapest clinics aren’t the best ones. There are affordable options, but it’s not gonna be the cheapest. You should always look for the best results first, then cross surgeons off your list if they’re out of your budget. Check out our full list of recommendations and feel free to submit consultations. https://hairtransplantnetwork.com/best-hair-transplant-surgeons
  15. That’s the blonde guy who was friends with Conor Murphy, the other YouTuber who got an HT. Basically he was paid to get an HT. But he may find himself in a situation like Greg Doucette who’s hairline looks super unnatural, and now he has to shave.
  16. Make sure you keep the recipient clean, when did you have surgery? How many days post-op?
  17. You’ve got fantastic hair characteristics. Will be following your journey closely 🙌🏼
