  1. Start it, worst case scenario you can stop. You can also take Dutasteride if you want something stronger. also testosterone level doesn't mean to much, some women even experience androgen alopecia with their minimal T levels, it's more sensitivity I think
  2. Sorry, but bump. Planning the transplant with Dr Radha and will also use this as the progress thread.
  3. The grafts would most likely die. I don't think any surgeon would bother. People's different genes would just make you reject the hair
  4. There's plenty of Indian/other cheap doctors who have great results, and here in Australia the prices are extremely expensive (I could bring me and a friend to India, stay for 12 days and get like 2500 grafts for cheaper than just an AUS surgery) and I haven't heard many people raving about the result. I'd say it's more smart shopping than getting what you pay for...
  5. Thanks for the reply, i more wanted to know if you can get that many grafts out of a single procrdure. It seems like a single hair strip would only yield about 1800 grafts at the most, but I might be thinking about it the wrong way
  6. I meant like would one surgery be enough only about 200-2500 grafts from with strip surgery
  7. Sorry for making multiple threads, but it's something that didn't come to mind and answers are kind for vague. Basically, my hair is kind of fine, I image about 70 follicular units per cm, and a surgery would need about 2000-2500 grafts to be successful. Would it be best just to go with FUE?
  8. Thanks, the 2nd line is basically where my real hair starts, which I measured at the time. I plan to p about 1cm behind the are to thicken up the thin area as well. I guess I'd go with 2500 then, as thickness is good if I'm not going to have the testosterone to recede
  9. Hope the surgery results ends well. I'm planning radha most likely, is it possible to ask for a picture of the FUT scar?
  10. I'm planning to go to either dr radha or bhatti in india and have relieved consultations from both. If possible, I'd like opinions on the estimations from people experienced with this if possible, please. Radha recommended 2000-2500 grafts and bhatti recommended 1500-2000 grafts. The hairline drawn line at the bottom is the only one that matters.
  11. Basically, the amount of hair I want to lower my hairline by should be about 2055 grafts at 55 grafts/cm and I'd just like opinions on the two techniques. My current planned surgeons are Dr Radha and Dr Bhatti, both in India How visible is the FUT scar? How large is it? Like, is it a noticeable bald strip on the back of the head? Some images I've seen have made it look pretty big. Has anyone here had a bad result with either surgeon? Also how much is Dr Bhatti actually per graft? Despite the site saying USD1.20, I've received an email also saying 100INR or 1.6USD. He seems to be kind of inconsistent with his prices.
  12. Thanks for the replies. As for leaving the motel, my only plans were to stock up on bottled water when I arrive for clean water to drink and wash the grafts (If I can't drink it, I don't exactly trust it on a surgical wound), Some food and to actually leave to the clinic when I have to). I had no plans to go holidaying or anything, so I guess my ideas are pretty safe.
  13. Basically, I've heard that India can be dangerous for tourists in occasion, and being 5'7" and 110 pounds, I'm not exactly aggressive looking or great with self defence. I've been planning a transplant with either Radha (Visakaputam) or Bahtti or Reviva Clinic (Chandigarh) with plans of staying for about 8 days after the transplant is completed. My plan was to get food and etc before the operation and basically live in the motel afterwards until it's safe to take a long plane trip home (like 8 days post op). So yeah, my question again, is it safe to come to India alone? Anyone with experience?
  14. There's a gmail adress? All I can find is the @hairclinicindia one... Thanks to the other replies, ill try calling in a few days,..
  15. Hi, I sent a consultation to the clinic about 15 days ago and never received a reply. I also sent an enquiry on the site in case that was needed. I've sent a second email and will await a reply for a consultation. Has anyone else experienced this?
