  1. Show a picture with your hair pulled back and if possible, Mayer don't blur your eyebrows, they help give an idea of the hairline height
  2. Picture taken with flash on one side on day 11. Hoping to have proper images for day 12, It's just hard taking them by myself. It's meant to be 70 grafts per cm going by the measurements and graft number, but it seems quite a bit less to me. As long as the end result looks dense enough it's all okay though.
  3. So the lighting is bad making most of the hairs unable to be seen, but as you can see my recipient is filled with these white dot like things. Picture was taken right after washing, I can't really tell what they are and I'm not sure if they should be there. It's about 10 days post op.
  4. Basically just what's seen in the image. It's where the graft came from and I'm not sure if it's blood or red discolouration. There wasn't blood pouring down my face or anything.
  5. Here's a low quality image of the area, nsorry but I only have my ipad with me. The brownish area the arrow points to is more of a red in real life. The hair literally just slipped out, as in it didn't take any actually effort to pull out like a normal hair, it just accidentally happened. It looked like a thick black beard hair like most transplant hairs with a tiny white skin bit in the middle. I'll get a picture of the hair if I find it, I accidentally blew it away.
  6. It doesn't let me edit the opening post, but I had another post op checkup and got more information about my surgery. I've had 2177 grafts total. 470 singles 1495 doubles 212 triples. The drawn plastic square cm map from before surgery showed by area to have grafts to be approximately 30 square cm, which means I should have actually about 72 grafts per cm surprisingly. If this turns out to be completely accurate and I have that high of a number, I think I'll be extremely happy with the finished result.
  7. Thanks for the fast response. I'm probably much too paranoid and a worrier to be suitable for transplants, but aha
  8. I just have a bad timeline in this thread currently. http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/175167-dr-radha-hair-transplant-21st-may-posted-little-early-hope-thats-okay.html
  9. I had FUT, I mean when I was looking at the recipient area and some areas looked like tiny red dots rather than the slight inflamed pink look of everywhere else
  10. I had a transplant because I'm transgendered and need to restore an unreceded hairline as a major part of my presentation. I'm happy with the shape, but I have no idea what to expect with the density, dr radha said it's 50% of original density and etc so I'm hoping it's satisfactory when it grows longer, it's just seeing it now doesn't look like much hair.
  11. I don't think I was bleeding in that case. I just had areas that looked more red than others, no blood running
  12. Washed a few more times. Sorry forso much documenting that people don't probably care about but I took some close ups. dr Radha said its about 50% density during the consultation and while it looks like a huge area, it's apparently only about 32 or so sqcm. So I'm hoping its decent density, looking at the images now I think I'll definitely need soemthing thickening if I e we wear my hair back, but I'm hoping it looks normal for a fringe. But it's probably too early for thoughts anyway.
  13. Day 2, had a clinic wash and washed myself. Hoping I didn't screw anything up.
  14. Hi, I'm 2 days post op and kind of rolledmoutmofmmy traelmpillowmwhen sleeping. Looking at my donor area there Re tiny red dots that are slightly more red then there's, is this thenblodmfrom losing a graft or would the amount of blood e enough to run down my forehead and be noticeable or something? Thanks
  15. Having fine hair, I can't expect perfection. Mainly I'm expecting soemthing that looks completely normal if I wear my hair down in a fringe and etc, but may want to mix with topic or something volumising if I want to pull it back
  16. Immediate post op + a day one result. A total of 2100ish grafts were used, about 400 one hair grafts, 1400two hair grafts and the remainder 3 hairs. Sorry id the images aren't done right. Despite doing the exercises i had a very tight scalp plus i have very fine hair, though she said the density should be good. This last image was after i woke up. Even witht eh travel pillow i had a very rough sleep and not even painkillers would get rid of the discomfort from the strip site. Theres no blood so i feel safe that i sisnt damage anything. As for the actual clinic, the only issues were me not understanding some of the people (bad with accents and etc), outside of that everybody did their best to be as hospitable as possible. So far id rate the experience for surgery a 9/10 with the thing to change that the overall result months later, By the end i had issues with moving a little, i didnt expect it to be so hard the discomfort on the strip site when lying made it hard for a while.
  17. I'm not an expert like the others, but of the hairroots are weak it's either just naturally fine hair or miniaturization, most likely the other if it's really noticeable. Fixing it is basically just using a DHT blocker and Minoxidil to strengthen the dying hair. While you mentioned sides, are you sure they weren't imagined? And if finasteride didn't work well enough try dutasteride.
  18. Yeah, it's not painful, but aha, it'd be ironic if I pulled all my hair out of the donor area right before the surgery.
  19. Alright thanks. It's just that after every 5 minute exercise I notice about 6 hairs in my fingers, and it seems I might be pulling a lot of with the exercises
  20. While it's only been 6 months, I personally think a lot of the grafts just didn't survive. Hopefully you'll get lucky in the next few months
  21. So, it's exactly two weeks until my transplant and I've been doing the laxity exercise on the hasson and Wong site. My transplant is only about 2500 grafts but I think it's better to be safe than sorry in case I have a super tight scalp. The one thing I want to know is, does this have any chance of causing traction hairloss? My hair isn't buzzed all short like in the tutorial image, it's about 12cm long and I can't help but feel that I might be pulling hair out by doing the exercises. Is this just paranoia?
  22. Hi, I have a hair transplant booked on the 21st of may with the graft estimation of 2000-2500 grafts, I'm expecting to need closer to the 2500 side of things for satisfactory density (About 50 grafts/cm). I hope it's okay to post early and just update this thread with immediate post op photos and etc when the surgery is performed, it just seems more on topic than posting it in the hair loss Q&A section. The lines on one side are basically the area to fill. The bottom one if desired hairline height, the middle is where the completely bald area ends and the area up to the top is where hair is notable thinner and should be filled in. I guess that's about it, I'll just keep updating with milestones.
  23. Honestly the photos just look like you got out of bed in and and combed it in the other. I doubt onion would work as natural options usually don't have the strength as medical stuff. Rubbing your head to feet bloodflow also stimulates the follicles, but minoxidil does it much better. Same as saw palmetto and Pueraria mirifica or whatever being nowhere near as strong as Finasteride in reducing dht. It might work -slightly- but I don't think it's worth doing in the long run
  24. Never heard of this, but I guess surgery could weaken your immune system and make you more likely to be sick. At 7 days I doubt coughing would effect them at all. The grafts should be secure enough so that only decent rubbing or banging your head or something would hurt, and I don't think coughing does anything to the top of your head?
  25. The bandanas a good idea actually, since it's really light. Just like the other surgical cap idea. I'm the opposite of badass so I guess id have to shave my eyebrows and go the cancer approach.
