  1. Coming along well!! what is the Scalp/ beard breakdown on your HT 2? Sorry couldn't locate it in your post.
  2. Thank you and fingers crossed, I am banking and hoping on them too 😀😀
  3. We are a month apart… looking forward to follow your journey!!
  4. Yes but thats the thing… as much as these clinics are well reputed/ respected- theres always going to be an element of critic/ compare that we (consumers/ payers) will need to accept. They are indeed competing for top dollars. To your point Eugenix may have thought differently. As suggested earlier, a consultation with Eugenix on next step/ forward looking plan may not be a bad idea.
  5. How about the possibility of BHT? Leveraging beard hair? Not to dismiss your concerns but i agree with @Rafael Manelli on this is not the worst. Keep up the confidence/ plan ahead and dont let this consultation and critic play on your head too much.
  6. I dont want to but may have to will take Dr.’s advice at 3-4 months mark. Its definitely one of those things that will play on my mind as HT 1 results starts to show (fingers crossed). 😀😀
  7. Woohoo!! i can fully understand the crown dilemma… try some ToppiK and schd sitting 2 while you are at it 👏🏼👏🏼
  8. Clean work again! Happy growing! Is there a reason why you did not go for HT without a clean shave in the front?
  9. Congratulations on an epic and life changing result!! whats the length from the centre of the eyebrows (glabella) to the hairline in your case?
  10. Received graft breakdown details- DOP 3/4/2023 Total grafts -4008 All scalp Singles – 690 Doubles- 2638 Triples – 460 Quadruple- 220
  11. Great results!! whats the distance of the hairline from the centre of eye brows (glabella)?
  12. Thank you for the kind words Adrian 🤗🤗 Btw hoping the 4th test is a draw 😜😜
  13. Day 7- Time for 1st head wash Getting it done at Eugenix.. Flying out to US tomorrow!! Mission Successful 😀😀 Day 7- Pre- wash pictures attached.
  14. I hear you and can relate!! inclusion and diversity come in many forms… gender race color gets the limelight and appreciation… but there a subtle form of exclusion here that remains under appreciated.
  15. And…. Hair Transplant Sitting #1 w. Eugenix (Dr. Priyadarshini Das) is completed!!! 😊🥳😊 Day 0 Pre- Op: (2 March’23): Visited Eugenix Mumbai clinic day prior for pre- op. I have to say… the digital signage consisted of a lot our HRN forum’s superstars… @Gatsby, @Melvin- Moderator, @Bandit90, @MazAB, @Zoomsterothers… I was telling my dad who came along with me that I know these guys 😎😎 Pre- Op Consisted of 1) Release forms 2) BP and Anesthesia allergy test and 3) Photos In the evening they called me to inform my Day 1 reporting time was 3pm the next day. Day 1: (3 March’23): Hairline Design & Slits I reported at 3pm and was quickly whisked away get into the Eugenix Scrubs. Dr. Priya soon came by and we exchanged pleasantries and recollected our previous video discussion on the goals we aligned for this HT which was primarily 1st sitting to frame the face and extend till the mid scalp. Plan was 4000 grafts (3200-3500 scalp grafts and 800- 500 Beard grafts) Hairline Design- I showed my previous pictures from around 15 years and Dr Priya drew a hairline at 8cm- 7.5cm and 7cm from the glabella. I liked the 7.5 or 7cm one…. And settled for 7.5cm Now that its done, I am reminiscing about I should have gone for 7cm not 7.5cm…please sound- off your thoughts in the comment on my hairline length and that if I should shorten that in 2nd sitting? Once hairline design was finalized, pictures were taken, and payment in full was completed. Slits- Dr. Priya proceeded to slit making from 5 to almost 8pm. 4004 slits were completed. Temple work was Right (245) and Left (265) I have to say, everything nice being said about her is absolutely true and more. She is calm, composed, and super focused on her art and patients care & wishes. I had some good discussions with Dr. Das during this time where I got to clear a lot of my doubts including planning for 2nd sitting to complete my crown and density. I also got to chat briefly with Dr. Vineeta who seemed very nice as well. Dr. Pradeep Sethi is planning to be in Mumbai clinic later this week… I will be in Mumbai and looking forward to meet the man himself!! (I have to add that the pain/ prick’s during the brief anesthesia delivery is real but temporary…. The way I look at it and advise anyone fearing from it is that the little pain is well worth the countless hours spent on researching & dreaming of your hair restoration. YOU and YOUR determination is more stronger than this momentary pain… also the Techs do everything they can to make it easy & keep you relaxed.) Once the anesthetic is in your system, you wont feel a thing!) Day 1 for me consisted of hairline design/ goals and slits making. Day 2: 4 March’23: Extraction and Implantation I reported at 9pm and after exchanging the greetings, was quickly whisked away to get into the Eugenix Scrubs and over to OT. The goal for the day was 4000 grafts (extracted & implanted). Since my donor area hair roots were grey, they applied hair- dye to view them properly and to differentiate between hair and follicle/ roots (which is also grey) Dr Das and technicians realized that my donor was strong, and we may not need any Beard Grafts in this sitting. So all 4000 grafts from donor! To be honest, I don’t know what to think of it, on one hand I was glad that my beard will not be touched on Sitting 1 but that also means I will have 800- 500 less scalp hairs for future HT’s. I went with Dr. Das’s expert opinion It was a long day but I didn’t feel it. The atmosphere & vibe in the OT was great. Good music and tech’s seemed to be enjoying working at Eugenix. Dr. Das kept visiting frequently (every 15-20 mins) to check the progress/ provide advice & guidance…. It was very well orchestrated and supervised. It didn’t feel rushed and quality was not taken for granted. FULL MARKS At around 6pm Dr, Das inspected thoroughly on density and suggested some additional work to the techs to get it to her liking We completed around 8-8:30 after which I was given the Post Op Instructions including the world-renowned book of Shri Paramahansa Yogananda the Autobiography of a Yogi. I look forward to reading it. As I said, it was a long day but was fun and one to remember for a long time!! Dr. Das seemed to be satisfied with the work and density achieved. I thanked her and the crew at Eugenix for taking great care of me over the last 2 days and that I may see them real soon for my 2nd Sitting as early as July- Aug’12 timeframe. Overall the Eugenix HT experience was awesome!! I thank this forum and its members for close knit network formed. I am very grateful to the collective sense of friendships and accountability to give back to the forum that each one of us share here. Below please find some pictures Any comments of appreciation or encouragement or critic is welcomed for me to improvise as appropriate in future Sitting 2 Please sound- off your thoughts in the comment on my hairline length.. is this 7.5cm looking ok or I should shorten in next sitting? Kindly also let me know of any questions or HT experience you want me to elaborate
