  1. My experience was also the same,it doesn't seem he likes what he's doing.
  2. No,the implanter pen did all that the same time.
  3. the first one 100% techs extraction,50%techs planting the grafts.The second 50%techs extraction,and 50% tech implanting.
  4. here is the 27 month first operation, and the 15 month second operation results,a bit more, but nothing spectacular.FOR 6500 GRAFTS I WAS EXPECTING MORE.The time has come to face facts, either transplants don't work as well as advertised,or some doctors are wasting grafts and making shitloads of money. I put pre-op,post-op(first),and todays photo.
  5. Good luck Johnny,I hope everything goes well for you this time.
  6. WOW.tremendous,I just finished reading in french the article,it basically says that hakan doganay has been suspended for life on the forum for using illegal practices for publicity reasons.
  7. that is one of the reasons i went to hakan doganay, because i thought he did all the work.
  8. where to start... 1)your operation does look sloppy,it wasn't very refined. 2)i do think it's still early for a final verdict,i'm 2yrs out from the first, and 1 yr out from the second, and i'm still seeing improvement from the second.the first one at aspendos was done very sloppy and almost entirely by techs, the 2nd was done mostly by dr.hakan with manual extractions and that's where i see the best results.in the first it was done sloppy and out of 3916 grafts only 1500 took, that was hakans estimate. 3)i also think people should lower expectations, and not think that alot of false advertising done by the clinics themselves,is the norm.
  9. Just to correct you david,dr.hakan did my 2 proc?dures in different places(first at aspendos, and the second at the downtown hospital).
  10. i went to hakan doganay also,had 4000 grafts put in (september 2013),another 2600 grafts(august 2014),and i'm still seeing positive results now,i am a slow grower,maybe you are also,but i did expect more.
  11. yes,he put in around 800 grafts in the crown.
  12. yup,i'm seeing better results every month, and i'm at 12 months from the last, and 23 months from the first.
  13. hi spitfire,do you find progress is slow?
  14. exactly what happened to me the first time, took longer(grafts were out longer)techs did most of the work.It seems like doctors don't understand the gravity of importance of the procedure.
  15. excuse me david can you explain these factors?it seems pretty cut and dry when it comes to transplants?
  16. and also i do believ that when you've been bald in one area a long time,i think it takes more time for new blood supply to form to the newly planted grafts.
  17. i will post results at 2 years from first surgery(4k grafts),and 1 year from 2nd surgery(2600 grafts) in august.
  18. i first surgery took longer to develop, the second started developing immediately, why?,i really don't know.the only difference for me was prp in the second surgery, and manual extractions.
  19. and also remember 2200 grafts is not alot, but for sure your op was not a success.
  20. well,do what i did, hakan doganay did me a second op for free, which was for 2600 grafts, which was very succesful.talk to your doc for a second op.
  21. I think we put expectations very high, and that's a mistake, myself i've had 2 operations with hakan doganay, the first september 2013(4000 grafts),and the second august 2014(2600 grafts),and even though i do see a significant difference,i wouldn't say it's spectacular. But i started seeing growth from the first op at 10 months, although it was week,it got better.I would tell you not to expect significant change.
  22. it doesn't look great,but i wouldn't panic yet.
