aspendos is a little way out of the city,and the time the grafts stay out might be a little bit longer.and at aspendos they extract in a different room and place in a different room.i believe that at OFM they do everything immediately in the same room,and that gives a better result

all i can tell you is if you go with dr.hakan,have it done at OFM hospital and not aspendos.all 3 drs are good.

i had 2 sessions with hakan doganay of 1300 grafts,and they each took 4 hours,give or take 30 minutes.

You're going back dude,you've got a lot of dead grafts.call your doctor and schedule less grafts next time.im in the same boat low graft yield the first time.do you feel any new stubble on top?

totally agree that if i was to redo it,i would've done 2500 grafts in 2 sessions in 2013,and 2500 in 2014.that would've been perfect,but we learn with experience. on the other hand the growth that you are talking about at 6 months is not visible(not in my case anyway),where i started seeing visible growth was at the 11 month mark,and it's probably going to mature til 18 to 24 months. Large fue sessions will yield less than smaller ones,that has become apparent,that's why my second session(08-2014) was 2600 grafts(1200 beard). I have one question though,do beard hairs go thru shockloss?

i would tell you not to fret,i had a procedure last year in september with hakan,and i could say that i'm going on 13 months from the first one,and i'm seeing appreciable visible growth now,so i will give it a complete 2 year timeline before saying if it's a failure.I am presently in shockloss from this years procedure,and i am seeing growth from last year.

when did you start noticing the biggest difference or growth?

I'm in the same boat,I got 4000 grafts,and they didn't all take,now I went back for another 2600,I think either they will come out slower,the first ones,or it was too much for the scalp to take.If I was to redo it,I would do 2 sessions of 2500 each.But I do feel alot of new stubble where I thought nothing would happen,I have heard that hair follicles are very resilient,maybe take more time to produce,but they do produce.

It went really well,this time first day at ofm hospital,not aspendos,1365 grafts,Manuel punch,and implanted very quickly,2 extracted(including doc),and 4 technicians to manipulate the grafts,prp was done also at the end,2 day at ofm again,this time 1200 beardhairs,done by micro-motor by tech,doc arrived after extraction,and implanted,again everything was done very quickly,as opposed to last year at aspendos,where it was a little more delay.prp was used 2 nd day also.a lot less healing this time,hardly any scabs and less shockloss,I'm much more confident this time,but let's wait and see the results first I can't upload photos right now,but when I get home,I will.

We'll round 2 is finished,with a lot of differences,1st time at aspendos,now at ofm,1st time techs did the extraction,this time it was the. Dr with a tech and manually,1st time grafts were out of head for about 3.5 hours,this time not even an 1.5 hours.2nd day beard hair was taken with micro-motor by techs,and implanted again by dr and tech very quickly.This time I got PRP,the 1st time no.I asked the dr,why only about half the grafts from last year came out,he said,it was graft mistreatment during extraction,or patient not following post-op care or my scalp rejected the follicles,which I never heard of.Anyway I will be posting photos when I have better wifi,and I will post only at 6 months and 12 months,unless something spectacular happens,cheers to all

It means that not all grafts sprouted hairs,and because I am not satisfied they will take measures to rectify the problem.I believe second operation with manual punch and Bhr will have a better outcome.
