  1. This is looking excellent. People say 12-18 months but i think the majority of hairs are through by 6-8months anad after that is really hair quality maturation. Dr Erdogan is doing some really impressive work.
  2. The stats are nowhere as stated here. Many many more people get sides. The easiest thing for people to do is to try it and see. The lack of knowledge re long term risks is enough to rule this out for me
  3. Hi All, I had a FUE procedure around 15 months ago over 2 days. The growth as come in well in the frontal hairline bit. However i still have a large thin area behind that on my vertex in the transplanted area. My question is can i expect more growth / thickening in this area at this stage? Or should i be going for a touch up now? My clinic has offered to touch it up free of charge so no worries there. Just want to know if i should wait to maybe 18 months or so to give it more of a chance to improve. Thanks
  4. Ah yes the 10 Euro a graft blackrock clinic in dublin. They also did James nesbitt. Like a lot of things in modern Ireland since the Euro came in they are shockingly over priced.
  5. You have up to 18 months for maturing , growth so lot more to come.
  6. I cant see any change at all. You should be seeing some growth at 6 months. Still plenty of time so chin up and try forget about for a few months. Communicate your concerns to your clinic though,
  7. Hi Gillenator,. At what point do you think that all grafts should have started growing again.? Is it common to see a certain amount of grafts only emerge close to the 12 months mark after resting? Would that mean they were perhaps in a different cycle stage to the grafts that appeared earlier before they were transplanted?
  8. Im amazed the Dr would consider another procedure 6 months after the Op. You should wait 12-15 months. As a previous poster said the grafts could easily still be in a state of rest due to trauma and could sprout right up until 12 months. I think you need to wait it out. Although it dosent get stated too often i have seen a lot of cases where mid scalp (much like crowns) lag behind hairlines. Vascularity and larger hair groupings could be the reason amongst others.
  9. Mickey has done a great job on here. I think some Dr's nose will be put out of joint if they just offer FUT but they they need to evolve.! FUT and FUE both have their place but a LOT of guys will now realise FUE will fit their needs with FUT catering mainly for higher norwoods .
  10. I havent seen evidence of Mata but would be interested to see pics? Cassilas has been thinning a while and prob uses concealers. Roberto MArtinez uses concealers and a comb forward technique. He has balded extremley badly. He had solid thick hair as a player in his 20's and early 30's. See attached.
  11. This dosent look good im afraid for this amount of time. I would expect to see a lot more growth particulary as its virgin scalp. It shows there is no guarentees with Strip / FUE whatever the method. Has your surgeon said they will stand by you by offering a refund or additional procedure? If that dosent dramatically improve i would push for a big refund and go elsewhere to try get sorted out. Good luck with it.
  12. From what i have read there are still only learning things on what DHT is responsible for so you just dont know !
