    Scorpian, I am experiencing terrible shock loss 3.5 months out. Really having a hard time. Did your shock loss recover? If so how long? Would be great to hear from you as I am having a rough time!

    Thanks for responding. Much much appreciated. Do you have pre op photo? How did you know was shock loss recovering and not new grafts? I ask because I have little faith my new grafts will grow. So your hair fell out at 1 month but recovered 2.5 months afterr that? Or recovered 2.5 months after surgery date? Sorry for all questions!

    Mikieb, Thanks so much for answering. I've had a rough 3.5 months to say the least. If you don't mind me asking. Whenn did shock loss start to recover and when did you get back to even? Also how could you tell shock loss came back and not just. Your new grafts growing in? I ask becuase I have little faith new grafts growing in so I'm counting on shock loss recovery. Again thank you for responding.

    I just saw your photos. You had great doctor and 4400 grafts you'll be fine. I had 1000 grafts a mediocre doc at best and lost ton of hair. Dammit!

    Glad you made some progress. How long has it been since your surgery? I've made a few small strides in 3.5 months but defiinitley no where near pre op. the hair you lost was it native hair or hair that was previously grafted from another transplant?

    Boomer, How is shock loss recovery going? I'm 3.5 months out had terrible shock loss and pretty much freaking out.

    Ken, In 1st part of your message you said shock loss typically occurs over course of 1st 3 months. Then later you said it occurs over short perios time weeks not months. Which is it?

    Dr, Thanks for your reply. I t was my 3rd strip surgery 1000 grafts in the front where shock los occured. I'm pretty sure from looking at photos most if not all of what I lost was previously grafted hair. Had 2 Bosley procudures in 04 and 08. I'm 3 months and 2 weeks out from surgery. Lost 70 percent of my hair in the front destroyed my hairline.

    Thanks so much for the response. Man I'm 3 months and these are. Some dark ass days let me tell you. If its ok let me ask you couple more questions: So to be clear shock loss didn't even START to regrow until month 5 or 6? Also how do you know it wasn't new grafts growing in and it was shockloss recover? I ask because I have zero. Faith new grafts will grow. Thannks again for getting back to me.

    Norwood3, I'm 3 months out from my transplant had a ton of shock loss. When did yours start to grow back? When were you back to normal?

    Jjarden, I am in the same situation. Had shock loss of grafts and previously transplanted hair. Its beyond bad. i am right at 3 months. Did your shock loss recover? Sgs, About your shock loss..Were you without improvement through 3 4 months and then it started to recover or did it start to recover during the entire 3/4 months?
