  1. If you think it looks same as before give it 100% If you think its 80% back to normal give it an 8% etc....
  2. Well what percentage would you give it? Forget the crown the front behind the hairline.
  3. Folks, I could really use some opinions on some pics. I had 3rd transplant on 12/14 so I am am 5 months and 1 week out. I had horrific shockloss but have grown a lot back. My view is so distorted I cant even tell how close to my pre op state I am. Need some fresh eyes. The 1st pic is before the shockloss and the others are around now. Lighting is tough because it makes photos look so different. Could someone reply on a %'ge basis how close to pre op I am? For example if you think I have grown 60% pf the hair back I am at 60%. If you think I am 10% better say 110%. I realize its an odd request but it would help. And again I posted several photos from now so consider them all 1 photo in a sense because lighting can skew so much. BE HONEST!!! Again 1st pic is before shockloss all the others are around now in different lighting.
  4. Jjarden, Did your shockmloss come back? I'd really like to know as I am in similar boat. Really stressing.
  5. Scorp, Did your shock loss recover? I'd ove to know as I am 4.5 months out from terrible shock loss.
  6. Panda, How did you make out with shock loss? I'm going through same thing would love to inow how you made out.
  7. Well 4 months is a good question. Some say the regrowth only starts between 3 and 4 months and they go into the telogen/resting phase. Others say it should recover in 3 or 4 months-like you should be back to even within 3/4 months. . If its the former I'm at beginning of 3-6 month recovery period. Some clarity on that would be great. I grilled my surgeon and he said he worked around the hairs. He wasn't as good as your surgeon but he's been around for a while. So who the hell knows. Also based on your pics I didn't see any shock loss at all.
  8. Yea I hear ya, but look at my pics all my hair fell out! Also I went to mediocre surgeon at best you went to great surgeon. Plus I'm at almost 4 months. You'd be freaking out too. Trust me. I saw your pics my shock loss is 10000 times worse.
  9. Thanks so much for responding. Really appreciate it. If you don't mind me asking: 1) When did shockloss stop and when did it START to regrow? 2) How do you know shockloss came back and wasn't just new hairs growing in?
  10. Did your who closes recover? I'm in same boat would love to know how you made out.
  11. shock loss Hey Chris, Did your shock loss recover? i am at 3.5 months and have had a TON of shockloss. I would love to know how you made out. Jetfan11@hotmail.com
  12. Well as far as waiting I just hope I get back to even. Yes was bald before first 2 procedures.
  13. Well thanks so much for your response. These last 3.5 months have been been some dark ass days. It's so damn thin I can't use topik. Hopefully you're right. Still have a long long way to get back to pre op, but no choice but to endure.
  14. Thx for response. Which of last 2 photos looks better? The 3rd one where you can see my shirt or last one you can just see my head?
  15. Few other important things: Been on propecia/finistride for 10 plus years Started using Rogaine to SL areas ONLY 3 weeks after procedure-just once a day
  16. I just realized the order the pics came through. The 3rd picture is actually now. The last picture is actually 1.5 months after.
  17. Folks, Here is my story and could use some advice. I had 2 procedures with Bosley in 2004 and 2008. Both were outstanding. My entire frontal 1/3 is all grafted hair. I had a procedure with Dr. Niedbalski in Seattle for 1500 grafts 3.5 months ago. Have heard mixed reviews on him. Also had PRP injections at the same time. The result has been catastrophic. I will post following pics: 1) Before picture-east to tell because I have the most hair (Keep in mind its almost all previously grafted hair) 2) 3 weeks post op picture-again easy to tell as its catastrophic. I mean I can barely look at it. 3) 1.5 month picture still bad but settled down 4) right now picture-still bad fuller in some spots but thinning has stretched to other areas At 3.5 months am I know just entering the phase where shockloss regrowth should start or should I be much further along? Also do the pictures look like I have improved at all? I stare at them so much my vantage point is skewed.
  18. Jimmy, Did your shock loss recover? i am at 3.5 months and have had a TON of shockloss. I would love to know how you made out.

  20. Hey Chris, Did your shock loss recover? i am at 3.5 months and have had a TON of shockloss. I would love to know how you made out.
  21. Well that's fine. What does your concern about your procedure have to with who I post to about what? Here's my advice from someone who screwed up: 1-go to world class surgeon 2-dont let cost or travel influence decision 3-shave recipient 4-understand if you do strip you'll never be able to shave your head again no turning back 5-be on propecia Wish you the best
  22. Again I wanted to talk with folks who had same situation in the past. Those folks aren't going to log in 4 years after to read about other peoples shock loss. That's exactly why I reached out to several older posts to people who have been through same experience. Starting my own thread attracts ht surgeons, ht sales people and know it alls who do nothing but troll blogs. Get it? Mind your own business.
  23. Not really cool and what do you care? My whole goal is to talk to people who had shock years back to see how they made out personally. I'm not on here bc I'm bored and have no friends and enjoy chatting about hairloss. I've had several people respond and its been wonderful to talk with them about my personal situation since they have been through it. I would do the same years from now if someone was going through this. Posting my "thread" just attracts HT surgeons and salesman promoting their own services. Reaching out to folks who were in same situation as me and discussing is exactly what this site is for and I'm grateful. So if you have a problem with me reaching out to people here I don't care. Mind your own business and glance 1 centimeter down the page. Don't tell me who to reach out to on a public forum.
  24. Yes I have been all over the boards. Luckily 6 or so people have replied and they all recovered. However I have few things working against me: 1) Medicore surgeon 2) Did not shvae 3) Shock loss was HUGE But most of my loss was existing grafts from 04 and 08 procudures. Just really nervous now as I've had minimal regrowth and I am 3.5 months. Also my entire job is public speaking traveling face to face meetings so its killing me. Just hope piece of shit Dr didn't transect hair follicles$
