  1. Hey Schmiggy, yep, been taking regular photos, just haven't been on the forum much. I'll put them up soon. Chest scars all gone. Hair super big (I'm going for an Afro look now ) I'll put these up v.v. soon!!! Will
  2. BTW, the hair is my profile pic was done by Dr De Reys
  3. Hey Rob, couldn't disagree with you more. And the photos on my journal are the proof. The growth is incredible!! Sounds to me like you and him just didn't get on. I got on with him fine, maybe one of you had a bad day I know what you mean aout the German forums, I looked there too when I was researching docs and that's why I chose Dr De Reys. If you look reall close, you'll see all those 'complaints' are from one single guy, some nutter on the German forum who spends his life on the forum talking bs. Anyway, rEckon youd best wait and see what happens. Seven months is way too early to know. My result showed after a year and you can see that in my journal, month for month. Patience, my friend! Cheers, Will
  4. Agree with LondonHT. Belgium is the mecca for top hair transplant surgeons. Why do you want to go to Turkey? You need to get a visa for that! I went to Dr De Reys who's in Belgium although Dr Villnow in Germany did my body hair grafts. My condition was like yours, pretty heavy loss all over my head, Norwood 5 going on 6. Here's my journal: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys.html
  5. Dr Villnow in Germany is right up there. He did the hair transplant for Juergen Klopp. Dunno if you're into footy. He's the Borussia Dortmund coach - his team were in the Champions League final last year. He did my FUE last year with body hair as well and it's turning out nice. Here's my journal: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys.html Good luck! Will

  7. Hey buddy, Dr De Reys is really good. I had a great result from him and I'm still writing my journal. Here it is: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys.html @1978matt Yeah, he definitely is a good, ethical doc. Him and his rep, Nick from the UK hair-transplant-doctor website have really looked after me. Nick's amazing at checking up on how things are going and explaining stuff and Rudi has defeinitely got some proper ethics going on. If he doesnt think its right, then he doesnt do it. It's not just about money which is what made me go to him in the first place (that and his results! ) I didn't have any troublw with pain during my op though surgery's surgery so its never going to be, like, enjoyable lol!. It does go on a long time but I guess that's the price you pay for having a surgeon do all the work personally rather than a team of technicians
  8. @Redchilli007 Thanks Buddy! I'm also amazed that Dr Villnow's hairs are coming through so strong already. It looks like the hairline has been boosted right now and I was expecting that to happen in a few months time. Gotta say that most of the 'big' hair is Dr De Reys work so credit where credit's due. I'm definitely looking forward to the 12 month mark!
  9. 'Don't call it a comeback!' 'I've been here for years!' 'I'm rocking new hair!" 'And now it's over my ears!!!' Yes! Back for 2014! And the growth is phenomenal!!!!!!!!!!!! ))))))))))))))))))))) So much so that I've changed my profile picture Yes, that's the six month mark on my profile pic and boy, am I happy!! ) Dr Villnow's work along with Dr De Reys has made me a very happy man although I've not been so great at keeping this journal updated I've been out having fun with the new hair though so I hope you can forgive me! OK, ok, so on with the photos.... Just to add to the six month peekaboo that's now my new profile pic, here's a couple more from the six month mark: To all those who said my hair looks good with a buzz cut, no doubt, you are right (once the hair is there, right?) BUT....now it looks good long too ))))))))) So to hark back to those good ole, buzz cut, halcyon days, here's the full set of two month photos.... ----------------------------------
  10. Thanks Mask! I went to the hairdresser this week and she looked at my hair and said, you've got a lot of hair! I'm starting to like this )) Testing out new hairdressers is becoming my new hobby
  11. I went to Dr De Reys partly cos he has a great price. his prices are on his website. Just google 'Dr De Reys hair transplant doctor'. Here's my journal: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys-5.html
  12. Hey Scar5, Yeah, no doubt Dr De Reys' work is superb like you say although with the hair line thing, I reckon that whole thing about the 90 degree corner that some really experienced and knowledgable posters talk about kind of looks like an old man's temples still. Maybe it's some kind of HRN purists vision of how the temples should look but to be honest, I've never had so many girls check me out until after I got the Villnow hairline MAybe it's not purist like you guys think but it sure does work!
  13. Dr De Reys is great. He did my first two HTs, Here's my journal: http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys.html His consultant Nick helped me a lot too and got me over to an even more experienced doc called Dr Villnow in Germany who was able to do body hair transplants which I needed cos Dr De Reys doesn't do that. Villnow's the guy that did Juergen Klopp's hair (footy?). That kind of swung it for me. Worth checking both of them out though, good luck! Will
  14. Three month photos preview! And the rest of the one month photos tooo OK, I'm going to jump the order a little and drop a couple of photos I took today. This is at three months after the op: Here's the first photo: Guess what? It's all growing already!! On that second photo you can see that the transplanted hair is already starting to grow. Thats the new hairline that Dr Villnow put in. And here's a sneak peak at that body hair on the crown... GROWTH IS AWESOME! And it's only three months. Nothing grew till five months in the last two ops so this is looking great already!! Can't wait till the full twelve rolls by )))) OK! That's all you're gonna get Here's the full set of one month photos
  15. Three week updates! So it's three weeks after the operation now. I think most of the hairs on the top of the head have shed now so you can see the difference between now and straight after the op. Seeing all the hairs fall out is tough but I guess it's nice to at least see how it's gonna turn out. Still, hair kinda coming, then going then coming again is a little harsh when you're in the going phase!! Here's the phtos! Got another one of the chest too!
  16. 1978Matt, thanks so much, it's a real honor to get a mention from you! I really like your advice on using Finasteride and Minoxidil too. I'm sure I read them here somewhere. Seriously, it's people like you who help al the rest of us out. Yeah, Dr Villnow did Ted Danson and a few other folk like Juergen Klopp and Dick Advocaat ( not that that swayed me at all )
  17. Hey Edsarn, No, there's no shock loss. If anything it all still looks really full right now, fuller than before the op. I'm a bit further on than ten days as I'm writing this right now and there's definitely no shock loss. I'll put the photos up soon and Ill put one up of my chest next time too!
  18. Hey Tommy, What do you mean by 'drop'? I'm not sure what you mean. Cheers, Will
  19. I had fantastic results with Dr Villnow and Dr De Reys. Check out my journal! Will http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/171507-7350-grafts-850-body-hair-dr-villnow-dr-de-reys.html
  20. The doc used both, a manual on the first day and motorised on the second for the body hair although a lot of the body hair extraction was done by the technicians. They defo used motorized punches which was good cos they got through the body hair day quicker. Doing the 850 body hair manual would've taken too long.
