  1. Revita 3-4 times is alright but I would not use everyday....but Niz 1% more than twice is harsh....for me atleast. Pull back on Revita and see if shed stops.....As it is you are using big 2....which together are much more effective than Keto.....so you are not losing much by pulling back on Revita.
  2. My experience was on similar lines.....in fact I did not use the cap at all even while flying back......Long live FUE and surgeons great at it! Strip seems barbaric in comparison......
  3. You are using Keto every day? Man!....isn't that too harsh? I have used Revita for almost an year now and happy with it.....gentle around still does the anti-DHT job I think......Niz 1% is not harsh if you use it 1-2 times a week.....2% is very harsh for me. I could question Revita source but even that would be a remote possibility to for shed....hmm....seems unlikely that it could trigger Propecia and Minox shed.....very hard to comment.....
  4. To set the ball rolling : http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/145591-hair-transplant-tips-info.html Keep digging and this forum has a wealth of knowledge. There is also an FUE post-op instructions on SMG's website which you may find useful. I am 9 days post-op FUE at this point.
  5. Swanky! But just like HARIRI said, let's hope it stays at EURO 2.5. To be honest, hair loss is such an underrated problem which takes a huge toll on a guy's mindset that clinics doing affordable, reliable, quality work are so badly needed.
  6. I agree....does not mean you need to go for Strip considering you need small number. There are many helpful, experienced people on this forum and few have already commented and I hope others also chime in on your case. BTW I had FUE with Dr. Paul Shapiro just a week back.
  7. Dude, Mickey85 is one of the most knowledgeable, objective guys on this forum. You will benefit from his advice.
  8. Looking slick! Updates always help and encourage fellow members.
  9. My experience: Niz 1% - Twice a week was not too harsh, used it over 1.5 years....definitely believe it works but over a period of time it does grey your hair as well and sometimes can leave your hair too dry. Revita - carries 1% Keto as well and is relatively more gentle to the hair. I have been using Revita for more than a year now and like it.
  10. @ JD - what is your MSM and Biotin dosage? Did Stephen or Bisanga endorse it in the first 2 weeks after HT as well? I ask coz Dr. Paul did not think very highly of MSM.....
  11. Swelling should subside soon.....best of luck my friend.
  12. Thank you guys for your support, feedback and best wishes.
  13. @hsrp10 - Thanks, I have 2 weeks as downtime. I am hoping the redness would go away by then. @Bill - Thanks for your help over the last 1.5 years. Yes, I was apprehensive about ARTAS but turned out SMG preferred to use SAFE on me. I think that may have been coz they wanted lesser number of grafts (800 to start with, 600 1s and 200 2s) that too mainly 1s from the lower donor zone. Within like 1.5-2 hours Tom was able to extract 1200 grafts.
  14. HARIRI, would not have been able to do it without your help guys.
  15. Guys, thank you all for your guidance and support.
  16. Day after HT pics (after the hair wash). These pics were clicked by Jenna using my iPhone. She clicked more with her camera as well.
  17. Guys, today I had my FUE procedure with Dr. Paul Shapiro. It is 2AM here in Minneapolis. Just woke from heavy dose of Valium and Vicodin. Tom said - One of easiest cases he has worked on (coarse thick straight hair). He extracted approx. 1200 grafts within a very short period using SAFE. Dr. Paul said - One of the difficult cases as I would just not go numb. He was extremely patient and kind. Matt - Great guy, his confidence in SMG gave me confidence. Jenna - Very particular about details and a sweet personality to deal with. SMG staff was very kind and helpful. It seemed to me Vicodin made very nauseous, threw up 4 times after the procedure. Hope the grafts did not get dislodged/fall out. Tomorrow I will be going for the hair wash at SMG and after I am back I will update the thread with more details. Many thanks to this forum and members of this forum for helping me all the way. Like I said I will add more details tomorrow.
  18. Isn't 60 grafts per sq cm high? From what I have read and researched - anything above 50 is risky business.....correct me if I am wrong.
  19. Very good indeed. Was the patient on any DHT inhibitor or Minox? Seems like the area behind the hairline also grew dense with no transplanted grafts.....please correct me if I am wrong or is the dense front camouflaging the less dense mid scalp.
