  1. Tried to take a pic of it but the lighting isn't that great, sorry about the poor quality. Is there a chance it's just shock loss and it will grow back?
  2. Hello, I am currently 2 months post op from a 1500 graft FUE transplant. The grafts were taken from the back left side of my head, leaving me room for another hair transplant in the future. At this point, my hair is about a size 2 all the way around my head and in the donor area it's noticeably thinner due to the transplant (you can see more scalp) My question is, will this get better over time or will I need to grow my hair longer? The whole reason I got a FUE was so I can keep my hair semi short so I'm hoping I can keep it like this down the road. Any help would be great! Thanks.
  3. Hello, I am 2 months post op and I still see small hairs in the recipient area that haven't shed from the transplant. I read that in another post that it was ok to pull these hairs out but I would just like some reassurance. Does gently pulling the hairs out effect the grafts? Is it uncommon for transplanted hair to stay this long? Will if effect new hair growth? Will the new hair push out the old transplanted hair? If anyone could give me advice it would be a lot of help. Thanks!
  4. I am currently one month and three day post op and a lot of my hairs have shed in the hairline, but there is also a good amount of small prickly hairs that have not shed or grown and seem to be very firmly in place. I've been getting more and more aggressive with shampooing and I had a little more shedding, but it stopped over the past couple days. Do I need to be worried? What does this mean? Will they fall out eventually? Any advice would help! I'm probably overreacting but I need someone to ease my mind. Thanks!
  5. So far I've stayed away from getting my hair wet under the shower. I wash my hair with a sponge twice a day with the shampoo that was given to me.
  6. Hello guys, I'm currently 7 days post op from a 1500 graft fue procedure on my hairline. I have a lot of dryness and scabbing in my recipient area and I was wondering I there was anything I can do to help that? I'm really paranoid about touching my hair because I don't wanna be to rough on the grafts but the area is extremely dry. Should I leave this alone? Can I use aloe Vera or something to help the scabbing? And at this point can I start touching the grafts more without effecting them? I have a follow up with my doctor in a couple days but I'm really trying to get this figured out soon. Thanks for the help in advance!
  7. I have been on propecia (Dr. Reddy's) for almost 3 months now, taking the recommended 1mg a day. Before I started taking it I was shedding just a little bit, but ever since I started I have had a ton of shedding for 3 months straight. I'm a little worried about this, I have looked around the internet and seen that shedding is common, but it's gotten so out of control that I feel like it won't stop. I've also talked to a hair transplant doctor at about the second month and he said it was common, but I'm still seeing no signs of it stoping. So my question is, what do I do now? Should I maybe get on the original brand of propecia rather than the generic? I don't want to get off the drug if it's working, I'm just concerned that my hair won't grow back. I'm 22 if that helps... Thanks a lot in advance!

  9. Hello everyone, I'm currently looking into getting a FUT transplant done. My original goal was to do an FUE, but its too expensive for me being a college student (and yes I know how much it is looked down upon when letting price be a huge factor, but I don't have a choice). I know that doctor expertise has got a lot better, so my question is how big should I expect my scar to be? I also like to keep my hair somewhat short, about a #3 all the way around, will I still be able to do this and will the scar still be visible? I plan on using a cover up product for my scar so I can maybe get away with having short hair. Thank you everybody for you answers in advance
  10. No it's not the deposit. They gave me a quote that say at the top Hair Transplant: 7,900.00, and in the box below it it says Services and Materials: Operating Room: 2,500.00. Total- 10,400.00
  11. Hello everyone, I'm new to the website and was just hoping to get some questions answered. I just got back from my first hair consultation, I was told I would need about 1300 grafts to fix my receding hairline. 1300 grafts seemed about right to me because I was told that same number through a consultation over the phone where I sent pics. I've done a lot of research and I know that I shouldn't let price be a huge factor, but I was just curious if all clinics charge for operating room fees? I went in thinking I was gonna pay for price per graft and a couple other small fees, but it kind of caught me off guard since it was another 2,500 added to the total cost. I was also thinking about going to Hasson and Wong, does anybody know what extra fees I should expect AFTER the per graft cost?
