  1. I'm following this. And it is working for me.
  2. Really cool idea. A good head of hair is important.
  3. You aren't too old. If it makes you feel better, go for it. Dr. Mohebi will take care of you, no need to be nervous.
  4. Sanjar, you are in very good hands. Actually, the best hands. Dr. Mohebi, everyone knows your skills, but this really shows what kind of human begin you are. What a great forum this can be!
  5. I agree with Dr. Feller here. I had 3 strip procedures with Dr. Mohebi. He told me FUT would yield better results. I didn't care about the scar. I wanted as much hair yield as humanly possible! I don't wear my hair super short wear you would see a scar, so I never cared.
  6. I had this same question in between my HTs. I had 3. After I got the first one and saw the results, I wanted another one immediately. I waited one year, but I went one year on the dot.
  7. I didn't use Minoxidil and don't think it is necessary, due to many of the reasons users have posted here. I also stopped using Propecia as it was affecting my sexual life. I had 3 HTs, and the meds made no difference. I personally think meds are overrated, but thats just me.
  8. Hey Densityrus, He is the best. I had several HTs with him. You will love him.
  9. Hey Goozer, Please check out Dr. Parsa Mohebi. He is in LA and he is fantastic. I had 3 HTs with him over the course of the last 4 years and I could not be happier. Hasson is overrated, sorry mav23100gunther.
  10. Before you choose, please check out Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles. I was in the same situation as you once, and I went to many of the doctors listed here. I finally chose Dr. Mohebi. He is really great. Check out his website Los Angeles Hair Restoration | Parsa Mohebi and see what you think.
  11. Looking great! Dr. Mohebi does some of the best work out there.
  12. Congrats Marc, well deserved. Dr. Mohebi is one of the best HT docs in the world. He doesn't get as much love on this board as he should. You are in GREAT hands. I look forward to following your progress.
  13. Dr. Mohebi, I just watched all of the videos on your Facebook page. Kudos to you for doing this contest. These stories are very emotional. I can't wait to see who wins.
  14. I took a meeting with Ziering too. There was something impersonal about the meeting and his style. Which ultimately led me to Dr. Parsa Mohebi. Someone else on this thread said how educated he was, and yeah, he blew me away with his knowledge and made me feel so comfortable with his personal style. I've done multiple procedures with him at this point. I can highly highly recommend him. You won't go wrong.
  15. I do agree that there is so much misinformation out there about HTs. So I wish you a lot of luck in this endeavor.
  16. This is an interesting topic. I'd still opt for a HT and for the the hair I have now and not worry about what might happen later. By that time, there could be new advances.
  17. I had to loosen the baseball cap all the way to even get it on my head. And even then it would only fit on the very top. So I wore a bandana under it, and loosened that too. It didn't look natural at all, but it was enough for me to get back home.
  18. Would implanting hairs work on any section of your body? Such as your nose, palm or shoulder? Or do they only work in areas where hair used to grow?
  19. Thanks Dr Charles. Another question for you, how many FUTs can one get? And is there any decrease in the success rate in multiple FUTs?
  20. I am 40 years old and made it to this age with very minor recession. I'm very lucky. But at 40 I began to notice some minor recession to an NW2. I started Propecia in Jan. 2012 had a very minor FUT HT, about 800 grafts for the temple region soon after. It went great. I noticed results in 3-4 months that corrected the problem and the area of HT has thickened up since then as its about 10 months now. But in the past couple months, I've noticed a complete loss of libido from Propecia. So I stopped it. I have hair greed though, and a very thick donor region, and would like to get another HT as the first one was so successful, I could even make things better. I see the opinions are mixed on this forum as to an HT without meds. I am willing to continue to get HTs to fix up the areas so that in the often talked about 5-10 years when there will be a permanent solution, I'll be good up til that point ;-) But I'd like to get some opinions/advice on what I should do. Thanks.
  21. Spex, you are a legend. Thanks brother. Looking forward to that doc you are working on too.
