Yes, Marwan Saifi was excellent before, during an after the surgery. He is also a very good bloke. He made the time to visit me in the hotel the day after surgery, he has called me at home, answered all emails. As I have said before , I dont want to rave too much yet as I have yet to see the results. At this stage I cant fault him.

His price per graft based on 2000. Is 1.47 pound / 2.29 us

    I'll update pics shortly.

Bucs - Im sure Forest will do well next season.

  2. I went to Dr Saifi in Poland. He does a lot of work himself. He done the injections, strip removal , incisions and about 50% of the graft placement. He had another tech helping him

However , I only had 1680 grafts and I know from other members on here who had more grafts with Dr Saifi, in this case he had 2 or 3 techs helping.

As Rod says fatigue can take place , so its a good idea to have constant breaks which is whay my doc did, but he was always in total control and didnt wonder off like i hear a lot of docs do. (not the ones recommended on here though)

I think it would be pretty impossible for the docs to do everything , if you include the splitting of the grafts. If you dont include this then I still find unusual but doable if there are a small number of gtafts needed.

Yeah , I had my surgery on the 1st March. So just at 9 weeks now.

You really are going for it , good luck to you.

Ive started to wear my hair a bit longer than usual and use a tiny bit of concealer. My wife says its the best shes ever seen my hair. The goods news is that I havent really started to see any growth yet. So when it does I can hopefully ditch the concealer, or carry on using it so it will hpefully give me the look of a full head of hair.

Ive been on Propecia for just over 8 months now and I think this is really sarting to help now, I didnt really notice anything for the first 7 months or so. Im also on Minoxidil. Not sure on regrowth but each hair shaft appears thicker.

Give it a year and Ill have hair like Jedward!!!!!!!

Its amazing what hair can do to your confidence and outlook. I might go for a run myself !!!!!

Oh and Up the Saints!!!!!! Back in the Premiership !!!

  4. Hi All

I am now 2 months post op from surgery with Dr Saifi in Poland.

The scar is getting better and better all the time, but I must admit I didn't think it would be as bad as it was. I suffered some shock loss throughout the donor area, although most has now grow back, apart from the middle. Also , it was very red either side of the scar line (pinkish now)

Im not sure if im just being a picky but im normally a very quick healer so I was expecting a bit better at this stage. Having said this, its basically invisible at a grade 4 at 2 months , so Im probably being a bit over the top !!!

At this stage I would say that I have seen a definite improvement in my hair quality but I reallly think this is down to the Propecia kicking in, as I have now been on it for just over 8 months.

I had a tiny bit of shock loss in the recipient area, just on 1 side of the hair line, which is now threatening to grow back. Either that or I have a bit of early growth.

So overall, not much to update , but I will add pics very shortly, so you can compare to the pre-op pics.

Im hoping some growth will kick in , in the next 4-6 weeks.

  5. Hi All

Spex has just mentioned about an up and coming documentary in the making, regarding hair loss.

Is anyone aware of any previous programs on Tv regarding hairloss & Transplants, as there seems to be a lack of them. Im sure they would get many veiwers, especially now as they are becoming more wide stream.

With todays advancement in technology I'm really surprised there are not more programs regarding this horrible problem.

  6. not much happening at the moment as im 7 weeks post op. I was a bit concerned about the scar to start with, as it was still quite red either side of the scar line. The scar itself looks really thin, so im hoping it stays that way and doesnt stretch.

Its getting better as everyday passes now . Its amazing how much better it looks when the redness subsides.

Keep off the tequila and merlot !!!!

    cheers

  7. Ive seen results from Dr Reddy in the UK and also Dr Rogers. Whilst their past work seems to of been critisised, their recent work that I saw, was excellent.

I had consults with them and also Dr Farjo. The only think that put me off was the price. I also felt that Dr Farjo despite being recognised as the best in Uk was a bit conservative

  8. Hopefully soon to be a premier team !!! Not going according to plan at the moment !!

Pirate Porter !!! - We're all ganging up on you.

Shes - They can to a certain extent , depends on your donor density and laxity. If they do they can open up the same scar each time. As a rough , very rough guide. you can get anywhere from 4000 - 8000 grafts Fut ,depending on the patient. Once that is exhausted, you can get 2000 or so, may be more for FUE (again rough guide)

From your pic, yours doesn look bad at all. A few thousand grafts and youll be really happy i think.

I made my decison on Dr Saifi based on The Portchester Pirate , Johnnyboy12 and hairtohelp2. All very happy . There have been many other happy patients since , not to the level of the other docs on here but Dr Saifi isnt a paying member.

I originally contacted them and yes they were very helpful. However, you need to pay about 10 times over the odds with them, so I would expect their service to be second to none.

If you go to the right places you can keep the hair you have or increase for as little as 16.00 per month. This is for both Finasteride & Minoxidil.

Most people on this forum speak their minds and are going through what every new poster has gone through. They are experienced in the hair loss business and annoyed by rip off merchants.

Withe the money you spend with them over the years , it is more beneficial to get a hair transplant.

Nobody on here means any harm , they are just offering good sound advice.
