  1. RC West - thanks again

Bill - Many thanks. You have obviously seen many cases, so it means a lot when I get comments like that. Regarding Dr Saifi, It was said in jest really,as I have been on here many times before praising him without having reached the result. Now I am seeing it.

Most of the cases on here are with the well known docs, so I just want to let people know that there are alternatives at a cheaper price, who can deliver good results. I'm not taking anthing away from the top docs, because if I had the money no doubt I would of gone with Rahal, H&W , Feller , Konior. Lindsey , etc.

This site has given me a great source of information, but I took a risk, but luckily it paid off.

Porchester - cheers mate. Hows yours coming along. You must be at about 4 months now?? Be good to see pics. You responded a lot earlier than me.

Yeah looking forward to October now.

  2. Mine is amazing . Go to this http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/167231-update-just-after-5-months-dr-saifi.html

To be honest I didnt really notice the start of growth. I know that may sound strange. But when I compared it back to the pre-op photos, it looked amazing. I know it looks good now, as its the first time in years that Im not worried about my hair. Im excited about it.

If I had to put a time frame on it though I would say from month 4 onwards . The good thing is that Im only apparently at about 50 - 60% of the cosmetic effect !!!!

The only peoplw who know Ive had it done is my wife and parents. They have said the difference now is amazing.

A few people at work have said I look different lately !!! Hopefully none suspects !!!

  3. Hi SFMG

Arent you a Dr Saifi Patient??? If so I hope all went well.

Im not the best at computers , but you will need to download the photos and save somewhere on your drive.

Then when you post a message , go to the bottom where it says manage attachements. Then go the place place where you have saved, click on the photo and it should automatically down load.

Others may be able to explain in cleaer and better detail.

Look forward to seeing the pics !!!!

  4. Hi All

Here is another picture to show my progress so far following surgery with Dr Saifi in Poland. This is a clearer picture as its taken with my wifes Iphone. Much better quality than my camera phone !!!!

I feel this is a clearer reflection than the previous photos I've sent. This is also just after washing, where I feel it looks at its worst.

However, I am now over the moon with the results from this, Propecia & Minoxidil. The results at 5 months are amazing, although its been a long 5 months. Things have really started to happen over the last month or so and I am smiling while I write this.

Anything additional to this is a bonus.

I cant thank Dr Saifi highly enough. I really belive he is a great surgeon and a good alternative to the recommeded docs on here (not taking anything away from them of course)

The price is also affordable to the average earner. So much so that Im back in a few months to sort the crown out !!!!

Thats it for now, incase you all think I'm employed by Dr Saifi.

    Cheers

    RC West / Irishsailor - cheers !!!!!

Dingdong- not going to grow it out just yet, as im a little thin in the crown. But that should be sorted soon !!

Porchester - Yep im booked for the 3rd October. Im hoping for 1450 fue grafts into the crown and thats me finished !!!!!

Bucksred - Thanks mate , yeah Pony Tail coming soon !!! Thanks for your wishes. Havent check yr updates yet, but will do in a minute. Hope you are pleased with your progress.

  6. Hi All

Here is a quick comparison from where I was 5 months ago following surgery with Dr Safi. I still havent invested it that camera, so the latter pic isnt as clear.

I will try to post regular pics with many different views nex time. Although I must admit this side has come in a lot better than the other. (At this stage)

Also note that I have been on Propecia for exactly 11 months now and this has helped a lot also.

  7. I had FUT. He uses dissolvable ones for the iinside of the scar. Normal for the outer. I had these removed in poland 12 days after. You can just ask your GP in the UK and they will

    sort. Takes seconds.

I know he is quite busy , but did have a few random days left in October. You pay about 2k for 1000 grafts 2.4k for 1500 and 2.9k for 3000

The service is excellent. You will need to arrange your flight and he will take that as a deposit. No cash deposit. He will pay for 1 nights stay in the Art hotel which is excellent. He will aslo arrange and pay for the taxi from the airport.

Anything else you need to know , then just give me a shout.

  8. Its weird because I dont think much is happening, then I compare against the old photos, then I get happy and excited.

I suppose it because I dont really see new hair sprouting from a bald scalp. Its just in between, so not so obvious straight away.

I am happy, because its the first time in years that Im not worrying about my hair, its the other way. Im gonna give it a few months then try to grow it a bit. That will be the real test.

I'll try to update monthly from now on. Same with you. Yours is looking great !!!

  9. Cheers Rod

I think its just starting to happen now , tiny little fluffy hairs appearing. Its just such a long wait. When I compare myself to the pre-op state it does look much better already.

Hows yours coming along ? Didnt you go to Inida ? Didnt check your profile , going from Memory !!! Rania ??

  10. Dingdong

Looking really good mate , massive difference already. Im sure it will get much better aswell. Really pleased for you.

Im dead on 4 months now and I havent seen much in the way of new hair. I hope I'm not one of the ones which gets poor growth. Im still remaining hopefull as I know 4 months is still early days.

  11. Hi

I feel for you as you should of had some good growth by the 9 month mark. Its a shame you didnt go to Dr Saifi of the Ah Med clinic as he is in Wroclaw. I and quite a few others from this site have had a transplant with him. I am only at the 4 month stage and just starting to see growth now. All the others are extremely happy with the results.

I hope everything works out well for you as its a horrible situation to be in.

I presume you have been in contact with them recently? If not I would now and demand the money back as clearly you have not had any knid of result.

Keep us informed on how you get on.

  12. Hi All

Im now 16 weeks post op and I think things are just starting to happen for me now. One half of my scar is superb , the other not quite so good. This may be due to the trauma of removing the poor scar I had previously. Dr Saifi said is still very confident that it will be ok but told me not to worry , he would sort if there was a problem ( but a problem is unlikely)

I can now see a few tiny thin hairs appearing at the hair line on one side , nothing much on the other yet. My hair futher back behind the hair line looks much better now. So must of had growth there. Also the scar I had near the hair line is filling in nicely !! Its difficlult for me to judge clearly as I did have existing hair.

As I have said before I think everyone heels and responds to the treatment differently. Im just one of the unlucky ones where it happens to be a long time. I dont mind as long as I get the results I want in the end.

SFMG - Im sure everything will be ok. Its a long wait !!!!!

Dingdong - Really please for you , hope to check out your pics soon

Porchester P (Porter) You seem to be a quick responder !!! Looking forward to the game tonight. Hopefully we can finally beat a big nation in a knockout comp !!!!!

  13. Hi All

I'm now at 14 weeks post op (103 days to be precise) and nothing much has happened. I know this is still early days, but still after some reassurance. I think I have read that the majority of people start to sprouts new hairs between days 90-120. Is this correct ?

I have had some growth of hair that was transplanted into a scar near my hair line, which is obviously good news but I was expecting this to be one of the last areas where hair would arrive, if at all (due to lack of blood supply??)

To be honest I would of expected a bit more by now, but I guess I am being impatient? I think I know the answer , but will send anyway !!!!!!

    Reassurance welcome !!!!!!!

    Thanks
