  1. Here you go...these are with no products in my hair. I tend to go for really short cuts at back and sides so these are a number 1 cut done about a week ago.
  2. Hi everybody, I hope you are all doing well. Sorry I haven't been on for a while, each time I go to do an update I always seem to get sidetracked. Galleon, that's me just past the seven month mark by just about a week. I got my daughter to take the photos I'm just about to post up. She took them about ten minutes ago. I'm happy with the result but I'll hopefully have some more still to go, perhaps not more growth but certainly some thickening up. It's still relatively early days because they say it can be 12 to 18 months to see the full result. I would love to dye my hair because I'm so grey, but I'm always a bit worried that it could damage my hair. If anyone has advice on this I'd appreciate it. Photos coming in a few minutes
  3. Seems to have slowed down a bit but that's only six months now so should have quite a bit to go. I keep it quite short which seems to make me feel better.
  4. Looking great mate, bet you can't wait to see what the next few months bring.
  5. Looking brilliant Johhny. You must be really pleased, still loads to look forward to.
  6. Pictures look great, I'm sure you'll get a great result. Good that there are now a few of us on here with experiences of Dr Lorenzo. I personally think that you suit the buzzed look, I think most of us look quite good with it actually. Never thought I'd hear myself say that!
  7. I think it looks really good even now. Lots to look forward to, you will notice things kicking in very soon. There will be growth there but because you are seeing it every day you might not notice as much.
  8. Photo's are absolutely great, hope you get a great result. You picked a great surgeon and the positioning of the grafts look fantastic.
  9. Hi Romanino, Glad my post helped you and I've posted some pictures for you to see. Dr Lorenzo's work is of a really high standard and I'm sure you're gonna get great results. If you want to ask anything just send me a pm.
  10. Hi everyone, Now at just over 4.5 months and really pleased so far. Definitely new growth and the hairline is a lot more defined and lower which is great. Looks better in natural light, always looks a bit worse on an HD camera! Hopefully a lot more to come.
  11. Hi Whispy, Sorry, I never saw your comment. Yeah, I'll get some pictures up very soon.
  12. Hi mate, Yeah, I'm doing well. That's me just past the 4 month mark and I'm definitely seeing some encouraging growth. Hairline is good and I seemed to retain quite a few of the grafts there so that's a positive. Glad you're getting to the end of the shedding, not a good feeling seeing all the little hairs going down the plughole. You've got lots to look forward to. Are you still feeling ok about it all? I'll get some pictures up soon, just have to convince the wife to take some. ;-)
  13. Really glad you got it done mate. I've shed most of the hair that was transplanted now I reckon. It started lightly shedding after around 20 days but then got progressively heavier and lasted for about two weeks. I don't think I lost it all though because, although quite sparse, my hairline still seems to be lower. I've heard the odd report of people retaining the hair and not shedding a lot, but they would definitely be the exception rather than the rule. I wouldn't worry too much though because it's only temporary and at worst you go back to what you were before for a while. I'll be posting up some new pictures soon, that's me coming up for 9 weeks on Thursday. I can see some small hairs coming through but I'm not sure if they are new growth or possible regrowth from any shock loss. Stay positive and remember that the best is yet to come :-)
  14. Fantastic work, it's looking great. I think I might have been the person that spoke to you after my ht on the day of your consultation. ;-)
  15. Looking great. Really glad you haven't felt the need to wear a hat, that will help your confidence when you go through the shed and you might feel strong enough to continue without the hat. You suit the shaved look, bet you never thought you would. ;-)
  16. Spanker, I honestly don't know what to say. Your hair is incredible, I don't see any issues at all. I think that virtually everybody on this site would love to be in your position. You have nothing to be concerned about, you know yourself that the hair you lose in the shower is perfectly acceptable for normal everday loss that people without mpb get. Don't keep looking in mirror for problems. They are not there but if you obsess, you'll think they are. I hope you get some reassurance from this...It looks great. :-)
  17. Hi Traction, You really shouldn't wear a cap for quite a while after your surgery. I've been told varying times that the grafts take to anchor properly ranging from 3 days to 10 days, but the longer you leave your head uncovered the better. You don't want to spend all that money and risk anything happening to the work that's been done. Apart from that, it's best to let the air to your scalp to help with the healing from the incisions in the donor and recipient sites.
  18. Just spotted your posts - brilliant results so far and still got plenty growth to go. Well done. I'm in the ugly duckling stage now and it's really helpful to see your progress through that stage. Makes me feel really positive.
  19. Looking great, that's impressive for 4 months. You look happier so it's obviously had a positive effect on you.
