  1. Johnny, just one more thing for you to consider.

From my experience small touch up surgeries can be risky. Have a read of what happened to me on this thread.

    http://www.hairrestorationnetwork.com/eve/180455-shock-loss-warning-against-frequent-procedures.html

I got into real hot water trying to chase perfection - now if I am ever lucky enough to get back to a 95% result I will happily take it.

A month ago I had more work done to try and repair what happened to me & now am hit hard by shock loss yet again & hoping it all pans out ok! Thing is, you seem to have a very good head of hair now and there could be more risk than reward if you try and improve it any more.

When you find yourself playing the "chasie" game with HT's it really is a terrible place to be in. Remember, hair restoration surgery can never really give us back the density that we were born with - it may be worth you looking at where you have come from to where you are now and really think hard about your future plans.

    All the best.

I actually saw you post and was suprised that shockloss hit you that far away from your reciepted area.

I had shockloss Also from my HT but only in the areas where he transplanted.

But now that most of the hairs in the front Line is HT hairs, Then the risk of permanent shockloss should be very minimal, Right?

I Will leave the middle and top part alone.

I just want my hairline lowered by maybe 0,5 cm maksimum and Then get the spots in the corners of the hairline filled in.

That has actually been my goal from Day 1, but it has not really been the results i hoped for

See att picture to see what i mean about gaps with no hair in the corners

  2. Johnny,

First of all Thank You for being so honest in your last post, it was several members who clicked on that there was other issues going on apart from your hairloss...which you already knew anyways right?

This is a topic here on this forum don't talk as much about as this MPB not only just effects us physically but even more so mentally which is a shame really.

I could go on & on but johnny there is help out there, tools that can be used, it's just finding which tools best fit the job to be done for you mentally.

If you feel like you just want to rant and rave just pm me a time, im no Doctor but a good listener & if any of the other forum members would like to put there name on your list then the more you can speak to one on one, which will definitely help you out by spilling your concerns out.

Again Thank you for being so brave with your issue's im 150% sure you are not the only one who is going through what you are right now.

    I wish you well buddy.

    Thank you buddy.

Well my girlfriend Think i have BDD (body dismorfich disorder) and i might have a tint of it.

But why is it that i have never been depressed about my looks before my hairloss started?

Offcourse there are things that i didnt like about my appearence but that was nothing that would make me in a depressed State of mind.

But my hairloss just hit so hard that it took me Down so hard i cant believe it actually.

And offcourse it is because of the Way it makes me look im sad about it.

If it didnt affected my looks Then it wouldnt be that hard.

Im quite skinny and tall and usually NOT very tanned. I Got pretty bad forehead Lines wich makes me look even worse. So any advice about using a tanning bed is not helpfull :(

All those things together and my hairloss is a bad combination wich is not in my favour :(

  3. Well.

First off, thank you all for taken the time to spend time to reply.

I have been Seeing a phsycholigist. Actually two times. First time was before my HT with lorenzo.

Second was in the worst part AFTER my HT with lorenzo.

Both times i went to a phsycholigist was because off my hair.

    But honestly, i didnt help.

It was Nice to talk to somebody from the outside about it, but that was all there was to it.

Next move was actually a phsyciastres but i canceled some days before my appointment because i heard alot about antidepressive medicin Will cause hairloss and other side affects.

And because i was/am slightly feeling better.

But my hair is still not what i expected after 2 HT ?

Offcourse the first one with dr. Hakan was very badly, and i made a stupid choice by choosing him, but at that time he was highly praised at these boards, but recently, Well lets just say that you need to be stupid if your gonna choose him.

Anyway, the HT with lorenzo did grow out alot of grafts, the proplem is just that it Also caused alot off shockloss wich not all returned.

So i do have a somewhat hairline, but it has alot of missing spots wich makes it look not natural if i comb it up and Expose it. I need alot of time and toppik/nanogen to make it look ok.

And i had allmost the same hairline before the HT with lorenzo.

So i kinda went for the HT to make my hairline look much better and so that i Also could stop using a ton of consealer.

I do still Think dr lorenzo is a superb HT doc and he is so passionet about what he does.

And i still consider another HT with him if he thinks that it Can be done again with better outcome.

  4. Hi!

Im a 30 year old man that have done two FUE hair transplants. First one was 4 years ago , 2000 grafts of densepacking to fix my receding hair line. the second one not to long ago , 1000 grafts of dense packing to lower the hair line and 500 grafts to fil out the crown some.

I think i have between 500-1000 grafts left in my donor.

The results are stunning and im very pleased with the outcome. i have a full head of hair and it looks great.

I know the risks of dense packing and my thought was that if i have a good hairline i will pull the short/shaved look of better if im loosing hair behing the transplanted hair or more overall. For me the hairline makes or brakes the shaved look.

The thing is that i dont actually know how it will look if im thining or loosing the hair behind the transplanted hair if im shaved?

I have no hair loss today and im really healthy, im fighting hair loss naturally with home made jucies and other supplements. Im not in the other stuff because of the side effects.

So what are my options worst case scenario? Can a repair be in order in the future? is a repair even possible for someone that have done a dense pack HT?

are there any pictures of patients that have have loost hair behind the transplanted hair?

    Thank you!

    Look up zinedine Zidane

He allways had a Low hairline and was balding in the back

He didnt gave a HT as far as i know but he had that Strange pattern of hairloss as you describe.

BTW who did you HT? Can we see some pictures?

  5. Hello all,

Im trying to reach Dr.Jose Lorenzo without success. I don't live in Spain, so I have submitted the online consultation form + pics on their website (injertocapilar.com) + sent personal email to verify that they got my form. It all happened 2 weeks ago. I saw someone read my email (using streak add-on on gmail). But I still haven't got any reply. Does anybody know how they work? Does it take time to get replies from them? and if I should try more or to leave it....? Do they have any patient representative?

    Thanks.

Well he is very busy but use to answer. Sometimes it can take weeks for him to answer personally, but pilar who is on the booking parts, normally answers faster.

    Maybe you Can Call Them?

The clinic name is medilor and is located in alcobendas.

    Try Google it.

What are planing ? Can you show a picture of what you need done?

  6. Yes i had shockloss. Both in the recipient and donor. The donor was pretty bad but it was on the back of my head, so the fact i couldn't see it made it ok with me. It's filling back in over the last week, and looks way better already.

In the recipient area, i had a horse shoe outline since pretty much when the new hairs fell out. My native hair in the recipient area grew back much slower than the rest of my hair. That was the toughest part of the whole process. Getting the op done etc was a breeze, but the first 3 months are really tough on the mind. Right now, everything is progressing exactly how the doc said it would. It's all good from here on in.

So all your shockloss from the hair in the reciepted Area has returned ?

What do you Think abit the difference between your native hairs and the HT hairs?

    Can i see a difference?

  7. 14 weeks out from op. Things are happening for sure. Kept around 15% of the grafts from op. Over the last few weeks can see action, and to be honest it's the best feeling ever. Will post pics at 6 month mark.

No shockloss of native hairs in reciepted Area?

It looks like you still had a bit thin hairs in the front where he put grafts in between.

  8. Johnny, what did Dr. Lorenzo say about your hair transplant with Doganay?

Well he told me the extraction was really bad!

And they proberbly extract that Way because it was easy! Well if the people who extracted was not even Education proberbly i now understand why my donor looks like This after a HT with dr hakan's "nurses" LOL

So sad i dont know if i should cry or laugh

    image.thumb.jpg.c679f54824c5f95e98b37d77b4add4ca.jpg

  9. Hey Johnny,

First I would like to say that you shouldnt worry too much. Just let the time do its own. Results can happen late.

Second thing, can you please tell me where can I contact dr.Lorenzo for a consultation?

Is this on the website injertocapilar.com? For some reason it's been a week since I sent them my info and they havent replied yet.

Well it doesnt look like much Will happen and i am pretty sure i need another HT

You should be able to contact Then through there website email.

What email adress did you sent to?

  10. I think it looks pretty good. Everything I've read is that you need to wait because improvements happen.

Sure ill wait. I have no other options

When all of you say it looks good. You have to remember to se my pre op pictures before saying it looks good.

Because i had alot off hair before my HT so my hair might Seem good.

But does the GROWTH from the HT looks good? That is what its all about.

I didnt pay 8-9000 euros to look like pre-op and 1600 grafts less availebel from my donor

For me it looks like a small session all around my hairline that should make it look good. But if graft is not growing proberbly, Then it Will not look good.

  11. Hi Johnny,

I've had a look at your previous pics and I think there's a definite improvement.

I know you have had a tough time of it, but it's early days, try not to think about it.

Lorenzo always stands by his work.

Keep growing it out to see the full benefits of your transplant.

    Good luck with your wedding!

    Thanks

I know he stand by he's work.

Im still hopefull that new growth shows up.

I know for a fact lorenzo is extremly dedicated to he's work.

One thing i remembers the most about my HT with him was that after he implantet the grafts in one go, with no break, (3-4 hours i Think) he took a deep breath and allmost lay Down on his chair and was exsauhsted and said finish.

I could really feel he was pushing himself to make it as perfect as possible.

My HT with dr. Hakan was totally different.

    Like Night and Day

Offcourse it is the result that count, and i still need a better result before im happy

  12. I feel you buddy,

As you will well know by your intensive research you see guys with high NW who

Just have 1 maybe 2 passes & look absolutely tremendous giving there hair loss & like you properly subconsciously thinking & convinced yourself again subconsciously that 1 or maybe 2 passes at the most you can have a great outcome giving you keep your expectations in check.

This MPB buisness is a science but at the same time a lottery of several factors such as the patient hairmoss, family history, the doctor you choose blah blah you know what im talking about.

sometimes it could you have all that going for you but one factor but if tbe new donor grafts don't except tbere new plant bed thats the way it is unfortunately & science plays the major part.

Again you have done what you any responsible guy would do to reseach till your heart is content.

You have a wedding In just under 12 wks a lot can still happen in that time so try & keep focus on something more than hair im sure your soon to be wife will appreciate that right?

I wish you & your wife the best that life can bring to you both.

    Thank you for the support.

My soon to be wife is Also having a hard time because my only focus is on my hair.

I will try to be patient and wait until Month 10-12 before making a choice.

But who am i gonna pick if i wanna get another HT? Dr lorenzo is one of the best on the planet.

Only thing i Can Think of that could be the Reason why growth isn't the best, is that lorenzo did NOT do the extraction?

  13. Me personally think your be well to critical to yourself which is only natural us as humans.

I see you like to keep your hair very short & it do suit your head, just a thought have you considered having temporary SMP to fill in the minor gaps & to give the illusion of density?

I have seen many guys gone this route with short cropped hair like you & looks very good.

just a thought buddy that all.

Again I think you look good but I'm not you...

I know it must be hard but hang but hang in there buddy.

    Wishing you well.

I might Seem a bit critical, but you have to remember that i DIDN'T went in This HT game as a norwood 7, and expected a norwood 1-2 head of hair.

    I went in a norwood 2-3 and expected to be like a norwood 1,5 - 2

And with 1308 grafts and 1600 grafts, i Think that is something i actually have the Right to "demand"

I know there is no garantie in This bussines, but i didnt just randomly picked 2 doctors on a short commercial break show.

    I spend 1000 of hours Reading and resaerching from 2010 - 201?

I actually went to an SMP place here in my country where i talked to a couple of guys who just had it done, and it looked allright but not great.

But all of Them was like norwood 5-7 guys wich makes it Harder to look natural than it does on a norwood 3 or less.

But it was permanent SMP and i KNOW that when you hit 50-60's it Will not look natural with a tattooed hairline

Well anyway, apriciate that you guys give feedbacks, good or bad.

Maybe third time is my lucky time.

  14. Are you still seeing new hairs emerge, or progress being made, in recent months or currently? Still early bud.

No im not really seeing new sprout off hairs.

Actually allmost all off my new growth and return of shockloss happen in like 1,5 Month i Think around Month 4 post op.

After that i saw a bit off thickening but no new growth really

Lorenzo's results is normally outstanding, so i am thinking, could the lack of growth have something to do with my body/scalp?

Donor Area where they took the grafts is as clean as ever, i Think only superman would be able to see something happend back there

  15. I have seen some people like you over the years who filled in over time.

sometimes folicals got there own rules & show up when they want to so best wait it out for another 5mths & see where your at.

Try not to be critical to yourself, to me you look like your making progress all be it not as fast as you may like or like other's

    Best wishes.

I hope the folliculs Will show.

Im getting marriage in 3 Month with my girl and i hoped that i would have somekind off ok looking hair by Them. But it doesnt seems too be the case.

  16. Hi Johnny,

I think you have had fairly good growth. You only had 1600 grafts and your hair is still quite short.

Let it grow out and try styling it. You are still only at 7 months. Most guys would kill for the head of hair that you have.

You have re-established a facial frame, and in 6 months or so, if needed Lorenzo can add a few hundred grafts to improve density.

Try not to worry about it. It actually looks good!

Well split, i hear what your saying.

But if you look at my 6 Month before the HT picture you Can see that i allready had a facial frame. But the hairline and corners of the hairline was thin

I Think its Strange that all around my hairline the hairs didnt survive.

Do you Think its possible to get new growth after 7 Month? If it is Then that would be extremly Nice but i have not seen Any examples of new groth after 7 Month.
