  1. Congrats your hair looks great. I really can't see where Dr Rahal would place another 3000 grafts. Have you consulted with him online based on some recent photos? I would personally keep some in the bank for the future.

Thank you. It's a little thinner than it looks! ( ALWAYS IS HUH ) but I think one more pass should get me fine. It way not take 3k, but hey Canada is a LONG away from where I live and if he can fit 3-4K in there I'll take it!

  2. Fixing to go back for another procedure. Hoping to get at least 3k more grafts. Tell me what y'all think. Here's current. This obviously is somewhat wet and longer than I normally wear but focus for next procedure is to fill in mid scalp area. Maybe a little crown. After first procedure Dr Rahal told me he felt confident he could get 3-4K more via FUT. Let's hope!

  3. You never posted a pic of your transplant. You don’t have one on your profile. No pics no gallery no truth. Just trolling for attention.

The definition of a shill is you! Youre a troll and a shill. People who do this for attention online have no life. You got the maturity level of a 12 year old. On top of that you stick up for a surgeon known for packing hundreds of grafts per cm on patients as complaints from this doctor keep rolling in. People like you rarely get along with others in life and you’d be dangerous in any doctor’s office.

If any representatives from any hair transplant clinics read this I urge you not to allow this guy into your clinics. God knows what comments he’ll spew about your doctors after his procedure. Make sure you report his email address!

I’ve had it with you. Don’t come back to the thread. Youre a nuisance, a troll and no one here likes you. Your continued trolling and hate will get you banned. I’m reporting you.

Which doctor are you referring to about packing in grafts? If it's Rahal you are delusional.

  4. Yep, he used both. The staples came off 2 days after. No big deal at all. I then have to take off the sutures after 10 days. On day 14, post surgery, you can get a normal haircut, which at that point buzz cutting the rest to match the grafted zone would be ideal.

Thank you much! He is very much so. The procedure was so smooth and almost painless, I am already contemplating a second surgery for crown area thinning, and possibly moving temple points forward a bit. I am just waiting to see how it looks after it starts to grow out. Dr.K's high demand is well very deserved.

    Agreed!

I'm trying to reach him now for my next procedure, and I'm completely happy with Rahal. Just geography

  5. I think it depends on how big a surgery Konior does. I had 3800 grafts done, and the surgery was big enough that he first cut a strip out from the right side of my head. Then he cut one out of the left.

And yes, I had both sutures and staples. Staples came out like 3 or 4 days after surgery...I can't remember exactly when.

Haven't really been on the boards in a couple of years and nothing has changed! Dr K still the man! That's gonna be a great result!

  6. Yeah I'm not going to listen to that haha I've seen and talked to quite a few Rahal patients who are very pleased years after.

@Ernie/newhair - I've followed your results and both look awesome! Do you think Dr. Rahal would not do the surgery if I requested to not shave the recipient area? It's not a lot of hair there, but enough that Toppik is certainly effective and would really help me get back to work/be social during the recovery period. The way I see it is that it at least gives the chance of being able to cover it up, if the hair gets shocked out anyway, than nothing you can do, but at least there's the chance.

I sure don't wanna speak for Dr Rahal but I'm almost certain he's gonna want you to shave. I was nervous about is as well but then a calm just came over me there and I have my whole head shaved. It's so much easier to take care of, to clean, etc.... and it will all grow out at the same time. Personally I think a shave is the way to go but I know it can be scary!

  7. Good luck with Rahal a doctor who packs tons of plugs in a square centimeter with guys complaining of serious shock loss a year later. Just look at their galleries a year later. There are better more qualified doctors in the industry. Dont be a victim brother. Good luck.

    Really???

Shockloss is temporary and you have it going on 1 year later? Not sure I'm buying or believing that. And just for the record, Dr Rahal is one of the most respected in the business.... and it's not " plugs " it's follicular units.

  8. Well thats the million dollar question! Of course you could continue to lose hair, having made the switch to Avodart is probably a pretty good move as in thats probably about the best you can do to prevent other future loss.

First, getting with an experienced transplant surgeon would be great..there are obviously many qualified ones on this site! You could not have come to a better place for information. You and your surgeon will be able to line a plan up for you….but to answer your question, YES its possible you will have to have another surgery….

    my case for example..

    18 yo - 50 micrografts ( 1992 )

19 yo - 500 micrografts ( 1993 ) these two were mistakes by me but I was 18 and losing my hair in my crown,,,

    38 yo - 4800 grafts ( 2012 ) Dr Rahal---and this is the best my hair has looked since I was 22.

Will I ever need another one? Its always possible….hope that helps..
