When it comes to crown restoration, in my personal opinion based on results seen personally and in the forums:- If Strip, Dr. Wong is the best. If FUE, Dr. Hakan is the best.

This is really great Alex, I would really love to see scars covered only with Beard and Chest hair as I'm really thinking of it one day. I know how much beard hair I have based on my interview with many doctors but I'm planning to keep it as an extra donor for my crown along with my existing remaining 4000 scalp donor grafts. How much chest hair do you think I have enough to cover my scar? Any approximates of how many grafts I can get from it? Can I get 500 grafts or only less? I assigned my chest hair for my scar only. Also did the 175 chest hair all yield with that patient?

Thanks for the answer Dr. Hakan. Implanters whether Choi or Lions/Hans are really effective if used correctly, Dr. Jose Lorenzo is a big example for that. Dr. Hakan recipient work is done 100% by him as incision and implanting are done in one step with Choi implanters. Technicians only help in extracting grafts and inserting grafts into the implanter. Its amazing how they are minimally invasive, I have seen with my own eyes 3 patients Post OP from your clinic with clean heads and less recipient bleeding. Actually Choi implanters were lately highly praised in the last 2nd Mediterranean FUE workshop in Madrid last May.

From my experience, Bisanga replies faster than Feriduni clinic but Bisanga is more booked than Feriduni which means you have to wait longer. You should really do advance booking in order to get a slot with him. Bisanga is very very popular these days I noticed especially with all these outstanding results posted by sl (Stephen) lately. I don't think that Bisanga can do surgeries every day because his work is really tiring, he does all the punching and incisions himself 100% without any technician interfering. I can understand why a patient should wait longer with him.

This is the best Scar Revision results via FUE I have ever seen so far in this forum. I wish one day HDC will post a scar revision via FUE with using only body hair such as Beard and Chest. It would be really great. Keep up the good work Alex.

Great yield with FUE exclusively. This is a slap for every FUT advocate who claim that FUE doesnt yield properly. It just needs a talented surgeon in order to yield well. FUE is a doctors thing and not a technician thing like FUT.

Oh My... What a transformation. 6000 grafts is enough to transfer a NW5 to NW1. Most doctors need 3000 grafts for just hairline. Great work Dr. Lorenzo, you are so far the best FUE surgeon I have ever seen. I can see how Choi/Lion implanter gives a very clean job with less blood. But please write FUE not FUG. Dr. Hakan, many says that lateral slit technique by custom blades gives fuller result because of the inclined angel of the graft which will require less grafts for a good result as it creates extra illusion. How about your technique? How can you give a full result with using Choi implanter? I heard that with it the grafts could only be vertical which is somehow similar to sagittal slit technique. Do you have any special technique with the Choi that works as good as lateral? Thanks.

I think Denny may answers it better but as far what I know is that one step FUE is handle and forceps at the same time in a sequential manner when it comes to donor extraction which really saves time. Motorized FUE is one step so this one is one step as well but Manual so it saves time and gives better results according to Dr. Erdogan and Dr. Lorenzo observations. About travel reimbursement, I don't have any idea about it as they dont even offer free accommodation, so actually it will be very pleasing to hear if they do that. When it comes to cash, Turkish surgeons are all the same from Hakan to Erdogan, they will add 20% TAX (8% + 12%) if you pay by credit card or bank transfer and they really cant play with this law. Only way to avoid it is to pay in cash or PAYPAL. I mean it really worth as 20% is not that easy. Political situation is very very normal. I was there last week and everything under control. Just try to stay away from Taksim square. From airport to asian side Karikoy (you can take a ferry from the harpour and this is it). You do not need to go all the way to business district up north and cross the bridge. Asain side of Istanbul where Bagdat Avenue located is super safe. You got my word about that. Its the western media that over exaggerate things in Middle East. I believe what happened in New York was worser than Istanbul. I witnessed both actually.

Although I prefer Bisanga when it comes to FUE but when it comes to hairline design and temple points Feriduni is better. His temple points are awesome.

Well based on my observation, If manual, Dr Hakan will do all the punching while his talented head nurse will help him with the extractions. But incisions and implanting are 100% Hakan's because of the use of Choi Implanter that allows him to do it in one step. If motorized then 50% will be done by Hakan and rest by head nurse since its only one step and much easier. But still incisions and implanting is 100% Dr.Hakan. Even Dr. Erdogan doesn't do all punching himself as he strongly depends on his talented technician Delek. So far the only surgeon I know that will do all recipient incisions and donor punching himself is Dr.Bisanga. It needs real stamina and hands of steel. Interesting thing is that I extracted 300 grafts from my safe nape hair. Half of it with motorized tool and the other half with manual punches. Dr. Hakan wanted to prove to me that his motorized extraction technique gets as small scars as his manual. I will soon post before my shaved nape hair grows.

I am a big fan of Dr. Bhatti although its surprising that Dr. A is recommnded and a member in the IAHRS which well known of being strict in accepting members. I think Dr. Bhatti deserves to be recommended here as I feel he is a better FUE surgeon than him. Perfect price and friendly treatment.

Hi Guys, I just met Dr. Hakan with his assistant Dr. Ayhan. They were both very kind and welcoming really. Tomorrow im going to have my minor correction hairline surgery. The great news I received that Dr. Hakan is going to move into his new clinic Istanbul by Christmas which is in the European side close to the airport and he will provide free accommodation in the clinic for the patients just like HDC clinic. Soon Hakan,s patients wont need to travel all the way to Antalya ;-)

Great interview and questions Denny also very honest answers from Dr. Koray. He should be recommended for real as Dr. Lorenzo cant stop praising him, his one step FUE and special technician Delek. I met him on July 1 for post SMP check up. Everything went well, I also saw the archirctural drawings of the new clinic. Its very impressive indeed.

Outstanding result. Dr. Hakan is like the Turkish version of Dr. Bisanga when it comes to results and quality. I really wonder how HTN knew about him. A hidden gem indeed.
