  1. Yes i think that is what we are all striving for and it can be achieved in the right hands. Good luck with your repair
  2. cam across some pre op pics that i sent to Hasson and wong over a year ago which is a good representation of how far i have come. If anyone can guide me into how you do a side by side comparison picture in the one picture that would be great.
  3. Hey guys updated my blog with a couple of pics. Will get round to doing some more professional shots soon. ALso worte a write up biut annoyingly was deleted by accident so will get round to that too. Absolutely thrilled with my results. Havent really thought about my hair since around 7 months post of mark. Am now able to get on with my life and look like i want to look like now. Truley life changing.
  4. Hey Thanks for reply. I was under the impression that you shouldn't miss out any tablets. Can anyone else shed some light on this?

  6. Hi What option do you go for as there is 3 different brands on the page, im guessing they all do the same thing?
  7. Hey Didnt you used to recommend Dr Ashcroft ? I though thats where you got your supply from?
  8. Jontronics offer for a complimentary flight back to the clinic is very reassuring for you at at time when you mist be feeling low. It shows the H&W are world class clinic. Good luck to you and hope you find some peace with this
  9. Hey Thanks for response. Certain lighting can make your HT look bad as well. I used to through habit always leave the little light above my bathroom mirror on all the time and because it was right above the mirror and harsh lighting my Hair looked really thin and see thru, i actually had to ask jontronic to put this into perspective for me as i thought that was actually how it may look but he assured me harsh lighting is not complimentary to any hair especially that of an HT, so i no longer have that horrid light on in the bathroom simple really!!! Like everyone on here sometimes my hair looks fantastic and others it looks thin and not so great, but the most important thing is that it always looks a million times better than it did a year ago, so if you have any doubts think back to pre HT and that should give you a boost!! Your hair looks very thick and great shape of hairline for your forehead and over the coming months it will only look better.
  10. Hey I am a little over a month post op more than you with same doctor. You still have a good few months to go. You appear to analyse your result in great detail which can sometime make things worse than they are and i think a healthy way to ride this journey is to kind of just let it be and assess your result after the 1 year mark. There are many posts and one in particular from Spex that goes into detail regarding growth times etc which goes on to say lots of changes can happen between 9-16 months post op. Stay positive, from your pics it looks like its growing in just nicely.
  11. Hi Yes i have stubble like hairs all over so hopefully this means more thickening
  12. hey guys, Updated my blog to show 8 months post op. Pics are taken without any products or styling, due for a haircut this week!! Again feedback is welcomed.
  13. Although i agree that after spending time and money on a transplant one should get the best hair style possible, however transplants do not automtically give you good hair days and do not give you catwalk model hair, some guys hair will fall into place/style naturally and unfortunately regardless of how sucesfull the transplant was some guys hair styles will look average. Its important to consider this so your expectations are realisitic.
  14. Hey again, Yeh I will let you know when I take a pic from above. I don't really like my hair longer as it can be too much bother to fiddle and style with, plus my hair texture doesn't allow it to look good longer.my main aim going into this was to basically wash my hair and not have to worry about styling etc which I am pretty much at that stage now. If I did have more gowth to come in the next few months I would feel exstatic
  15. Hi Thanks for feedback, yes I can feel stubble along the hairline and also all over scalp it feels like little bristtles of hair so perhaps this could prove exciting. I will post some better quality pics soon. Have been taking them on my Mac so kind of wanted to stick to that to get an exact comparison but yes the are of s**@ quality!!
  16. Hi, I think if we were all honest we would all like our hair to be that bit thicker so perhaps the coming few months the transplanted hair may mature giving a thicker texture etc.
  17. Hey Guys Please look at my 7 months post op pics on my website. First set were taken after shower with towel dried hair and others were taken after haircut today let me know what you think as feedback is always valued. 7 months seems to be the stage where not alot happens and i am guessing things will gradually improve towards the 12 month mark.
  18. thanks wish you happy growing too!!! look forward to seeing your recent pics
  19. Hi thanks for your responce. If i am honest i have never compared my progress to anyone else's as you well know we all grow and heal differently, i think this has been the key for me not worrying too much about my progress so far. Also pictures can be deceiving and personally for me my hair looks better in person, i havent told anyone barr my other half about my HT i just said i had some nasty scalp condition which led to my hair falling out and a friend recently said that its weird how my hair has grown in alot thicker there exact words were "it has grown in with a vengance' i wasnt gonna disagree!!! My scar/staple holes/shockloss have been virtually non exsitant i had shock loss at the sides in the begining but nothing major, this journey can take up to 18 months so you and i are only really at the begining so you will all come good!! Nope not shaving the top and leaving the fringe i shave it all the same length on top my fringe just grows really fast and i normally have to buzz my hair every 3 weeks so its due a buzz soon. yeh i agree the pics dont show the "style" so to speak of my present hair but like i said in person it looks way much better.
  20. Have updated my blog with 5 month post op pics. Let me know what you guys think. Your opinions and feedback always help as it can give a good insight into my progress etc. Thanks
  21. Thanks spex as always for your reply, so i am guessing you dont have to go crazy with sunblock on your scalp at 5 months post op?
  22. Hey guys As we are having more sunshine in Uk i am wondering what the deal is with this affecting my HT. I am almost 5 months post op (strip method) and have read so many differing opinions on this. I will obviously wear sunblock or a hat if its going to be sunny but my question is as sunburn can cause damage and affect growth, would that have to be the type of sunburn where you have blisters on your scalp/ soreness/ weeping etc for it to affect your growth or can being in the sun without protection and say getting your scalp a little red from the sun kill your grafts? Also is there a point post op where you dont have to be overly concerned with hats and sunblock? Would appreciate any feedback on this specific question thanks .
  23. Hang in there i know exactly how you feel. I am almost 4 months post op with Dr Hasson. Best thing to do is just let it be and the less you think about it the better its a long journey as you already know and you cant hurry nature. 6 months plus is when i think everyone should start to assess results. Happy growing you look great for 3 months.
  24. Hi I am currently 4 months post op and buzz my hair with clippers ( grade 5 on side and 4 on top) was wondering if this interferes with the thickening and maturing of the transplanted growth? I dont want to grow my hair at this stage as it would be to thin and fine to create any style so preffer it short for now but wanted to know if it makes any difference to the quality of hair or should i let it grow in order for it to thicken?
