I am thankful for so much in my life. Some times when things really seem tough we really need to look around and see the beauty in life. This Thanksgiving break i had the honor of talking to highly creditied doctor Harvey Salans. Salans was a long time doctor and the last to make house calls in San Francisco. Anyway, what he said was that if you take your hair and transplant into a baby pig it will not reject it becasueof its age. After some time it will have a nice head of your hair(and more of it becasue it adjusts), which you can then transplant back to your head. crazy? maby, but also very inriguing

If you want to give your hair the best chance of sucess you want to get on both rogaine and propecia. You need to give both meds atleat a year before you make any decions on whether there are working or not. good luck -

also my hairline has thinned out horribly just 2 weeks after the switch

I switched from rogaine foam to the liquid about 2 weeks ago. Horrible decision, im back on the foam. It made my scalp incredibly dry and itchy. My sclap had white patches all day and people would comment on it. The foam may not have been that effective but atleast it wasnt a pain.

dhoose75, did you notice you hairline slowly receeding until the drug kicked in and did it then grow back?

Theres no doubt that propecia can take up to a year to work but after 1 month my hairline has gone to crap. In one months my hiarline thinned out more than it usually does in one year+. During this time i have switched from rogaine foam to the liquid but i know this wouldnt have any effect on my hair. I know that propecia takes time but do I have any hope of getting my hairline back?

dont laugh along. get pissed and in their face. Teach em not to fuck with you. But thats not the problem. Im in a pretty similar boat to you, id stongly advise you to get on propecia as quickly as possible
