Dr. Robert Dorin - 2860 FUT at 4 months: Example of how hair growth starts to develop

Patient just came in for his 4 months follow-up. I think its valuable for patients/prospectives to see what it looks like in the early stages. I find this to be a common question in consultation. Generally new hair growth can happen anywhere from 2 weeks to sometimes 6 months but usually around 4 - 5 months you start to see the pattern present itself. This treatment is just starting to develop but an auspicious start. Will update after another 4- 6 months. Rogaine started in the vertex at same time as the procedure.

orangehair,

Thanks for posting some intraoperative photos. Every now and again, we need a reminder how our hair might look only a few months after surgery. Thankfully, it gets past the thin straggly stage after several months of waiting, growth, and maturation.

Best wishes,

Bill

your welcome Bill.....yes gettting a hair transplant is definitely not a quick fix but worth the wait as I think you would agree..the changes that will happen after this stage are a "smoothing" of the hair texture, hair with length that can be styled, a layering affect that will creat volume, addtional emergence of hairs particularly in the top/vertex which typically can be delayed compared to the front.

Orangehair,

Good documrntation and pic's and well worth showing. It's these early stages that potential patients need to be aware of.It definitely is a marathon and not a sprint.Well worth the wait though.
