Rahal Hair Transplant Posted May 9 Share Posted May 9 Dear forum members and guests, This patient underwent a FUE hair transplant procedure in the spring of 2023 with Dr. Rahal, receiving 2542 grafts (equivalent to 5687 hairs). The surgical details are outlined below: Surgical Details: 1-haired Follicular Units (FUs): 340 2-haired FUs: 1304 3-haired FUs: 853 4-haired FUs: 45 Total Grafts: 2542 Total Hairs: 5687 Other pertinent information includes: Average Hairs per Graft: 2.23 Recipient Graft Density: 45.4 Recipient Hair Density: 101.6 Hair Calibre: 41 Microns At the time of the procedure, the patient was 33 years old and started experiencing thinning hair around 24 years of age. He used finasteride for about 2 years but stopped due to side effects. He is also using Rogaine and has been for approximately 2 years.
