I would say destined for Norwood 5a territory. Are you on meds?

Give it some more time. You might thicken up a lot. The entire thinning area may thicken and the crown.

Do you think a year is a good enough

A year is good enough, then re-assess and hopefully the number of grafts you need will be a lot lower and you can save a lot of money.

You usually have to stay on meds at least a few months before starting to see results so don’t give up on them too soon. It could take 6 months or more to see an improvement.

Your donor area looks like there is some thinning as well so I strongly recommend that you have that area microscopically evaluated after waiting to see how you respond on the meds.

Each and every clinic will have the proper equipment (including scopes) to perform and provide a microscopic examination of your scalp…if they tell you that they do not provide this, definitely move on to someone else…if it were me, I would insist on this being performed and included in my in-person consultation…the only variable is that some doctors/clinics may want to charge a separate fee for this microscopic examination.
