Hello did anyone tolerate topical liposomal finasteride way better than oral? I had ED a few hours after taking an oral finasteride tablet. Years later I want to try this again but topically. This is a 0.01% compounded liposomal finasteride solution from a compounding pharmacy.

im my experience, you will still get the side effects. instead of hours, it may just takes days over different applications.

Most guys do fine on topical finasteride. The only guys that complain of side effects usually claim they get sides instantly. Its more likely nocebo. You should try oral finasteride at a low dose first.

i think thats the hard held belief. Truth is, topical will go systemic. None of the meds on the market now stay locally in the scalp.

You can always try it, and see if topical makes a difference, but in my honest opinion, if you have sides with oral fin, more than likely down the road you will have sides with. the topical.

The only forum member who I read and believed had no sides when making the switch from oral to topical, eventually did end up having sides and stopped fin altogether. I have not heard from any other reputable sources.

A few individuals ( including the site moderator) who had sides on fin, have reported not having sides with topical dut from xyon. Topical dut also goes systemic as well. They were just able to tolerate it based off their genetic makeup.

I think its really up the individual how each responds to diff drugs, but i think the trend is if you are sensitive one type of  anti-androgens in general, you will sensitive to that drug class.
