What is the average number of single hairs in a scalp?

I am 31 M, NW2 level balding. I had 2 hairline lowering procedures (1250 + 750). I still feel the hairline in the front ~0.75 cm is sparse and want to fill it. It should take 250-300 grafts.

Now I am worried that all the soft singles have already been used in the past 2 procedures. Is my concern valid?

Can we split 2 hair grafts to 2 single hair grafts ? If yes, will it match the real singles texture ?

If you go to a clinic that knows how to perform fue correctly they wont extract 300 single grafts from your donor in order to minimize the scarring of the donor area. Most professional clinic wil dissect double grafts under microscope to create more single grafts for the hairline. This is one of the reasons why its so important to go to a clinic that knows how to use microscopes properly.

Good clinics can split multi hair grafts into singles if that's what is needed.

Back head donor has most of the multi grafts, the sides have more single grafts, however it varies between every patient.

As mentioned above, at HDC clinic we also split double grafts to singles under microscopes.
