4 Month (123 days)

So today I marked my 4 months mark after my hair transplant.

i got a pretty bad flair up on my seb derm around 6-7 weeks after my HT but it’s better now.

pretty red still but ok I think.

I am a bit worried if the progress I made is normal or if I am behind.

some input would be helpful. I’m still on dutasteride and minoxidil oral both and use ketoconazole lotion for my seb derm.

if anybody has a question or recommendation feel free to ask.

Your absolutely on YOUR track. Remember there is no such thing as a standard track which applies to all. Everyone grow differently and it also depends where on your head the grafts have been placed. The back part towards the crown is always slower due to limited blood supply. You look good, and growth is clearly there. 🙏

@donpizmeov thanks man. It is really frustrating not to know how it will turn out.

Cant see a lot of sprouting especially in the middle part of my hairline which is the most worrying area for me.

But I guess I just need to wait

The hairs will initially be very tiny and wispy. With time it will thicken and mature giving a more dense look. The best thing, and hardest, is to try keep yourself occupied and trust in the process.

5 months (152 days)

it’s been 5 month since my HT.

i wasn’t to worried and I know it’s only 5 months so much more time to improve but the middle part of my hairline and the whole mid part looks super super sparse and super thin. I’m getting worried because I can not even see little baby hairs popping through.

guys let me know what you think.

would be nice if I could get an opinion from you👍

It’s growing and improving, it’s no cause for concern at 5 months. Slow and steady wins the race.

@saulgoodbruv

i sent him pictures at my 4 months mark but haven’t gotten any reply yet. I also sent him the new pictures an hour ago so nothing yet

@Melvin- Admin

thanks. I know it’s still early but there are not even baby hairs so and it looks so different to 99 % of people at 5 months.

right after the procedure it looked pretty dense and good but the part in the middle where I had most concerns about is really not coming in well

@Wingtsun you have gone to a great surgeon known for great results. At five months it’s still early days. In my second surgery I noticed soft baby hairs popping up at 8 months post op. It’s frustrating I understand but you need to give this time to run the full course. All the best.
