Regular Member Heisenberg Posted August 29, 2023 Regular Member Share Posted August 29, 2023 Hi all, Can anyone recommend a (travel) pillow? I understand that you need to sleep upright for around 2 weeks, which is going to be really rough for me, as I can only manage to sleep properly on my side. Sincere thanks. Can't find that on the UK site, so thinking of this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cabeau-Evolution-Classic-Memory-Travel/dp/B07G5KHQGH/ I take it you definitely can't sleep on your side for at least two weeks after the procedure? Rahal Hair Transplant
@Heisenberg, When I see your name, I immediately feel like quoting “Breaking Bad”, but I’ll restrain myself 🙂. honestly, it doesn’t matter the brand of Pillow you use however, there are different types of pillows depending on your sleeping style/pattern. For example, there are pillows for stomach sleepers, side sleepers and back sleepers. Since it is ideal to sleep on your back in an elevated position for the first week or two after hair transplant surgery, I suggest looking into buying a back sleeper pillows or you can sample these hello is that any mattress or bed shop. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted September 5, 2023 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 5, 2023 I found that wearing a travel pillow on top of two pillows underneath and a pillow or two under each arm helped me after both HT's. It will feel like you are sitting up on a lounge chair. The first few nights are always hard but before you know it you'll be back to sleeping normal again. All the best. 1 GATSBY 'UNPLUGGED!' 15,671 (3 surgeries) Grafts FUE+BHT Dr. Sethi Eugenix
