  1. I don't think I ever noticed much of a difference when using MinoxidilMax products either, and minoxidil hasn't really done much for me too. I still use the Hims alcohol-free serum even though I am not convinced it is actually doing anything. In fact, I am worried that the constant rubbing, even when done very gently, may just be making matters worse. I am now going to try taking oral dutasteride once a month to see if that helps.
  2. Can you not give the bottle a good shake before each application? I tend to do that anyway. Fortunately, I have been able to take oral finasteride without experiencing any significant side effects. I've been taking it for around 8 or more months, and can't see any increase in hair density though sadly. It may, however, still be early days .
  3. Here are some reviews, but little to go on: https://www.hairlosscure2020.com/hair-loss-concealers/
  4. Hey all, Anyone know of the best fibres/concealers, which are available in the UK? I am reluctant to try Toppik, as I understand the dye causes a green stain, and not just on your scalp. I understand DermMatch can stain your bathroom too (potentially permanently). I have copiously studies the Amazon UK reviews, and all the fibres there all have some worrying reviews. XFusion Keratin Hair Fibres look promising though? Many thanks, good Sirs!
  5. See that contains Alcohol Denat, which is a major problem, as that is not good for your scalp: https://www.byrdie.com/alcohol-denat-for-skin-5075721
  6. This may be worth ago, but it is quite pricey: https://densehairexperts.com/collections/optimised-hair-care/products/densify-styling-paste-1?selling_plan=690408915218 Anyone got a recommendation for hair fibres? I've had a good look on Amazon UK, but reports and reviews mentioning things like staining and a 'dusty'/artificial look etc. are concerning. It seems keratin fibres are better than cotton allegedly.
  7. I think the MinoxidilMax's so-called "experimental" products don't have expiry dates on them. I don't see that as a reasonable excuse, though, and that shows a bit of carelessness in my honest opinion. I paid a small fortune for 3 bottles, and am going to have to throw some in the bin.
  8. Personally, I would stick with a brand like Hims, as they are completely open and honest about what goes into their products, and they actually bother to put an expiry date on them. My only worry, though, is that they do seem to contain a fragrance/perfume, and I'm not sure that's okay for people who may be inclined to develop irritation or dermatitis.
  9. I struggle to sleep on my back, as I have been sleeping on my stomach/side all my life I suppose.
  10. I bought it, and it seems pretty comfy. I'm going to really struggle to sleep in that position though.
  11. Is it possible to test the purity, though, and what is really in those products?
  12. Thanks, Melvin. Can't find that on the UK site, so thinking of this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cabeau-Evolution-Classic-Memory-Travel/dp/B07G5KHQGH/ I take it you definitely can't sleep on your side for at least two weeks after the procedure?
  13. Hi all, Can anyone recommend a (travel) pillow? I understand that you need to sleep upright for around 2 weeks, which is going to be really rough for me, as I can only manage to sleep properly on my side. Sincere thanks.
