What's your family history? Is your father, uncles, or grandparents bald? If so, when did they lose their hair?

You are receding and i hope you don't loose more ground...Consult a good doctor and see what he/she has to say about it and what can be done to cope up with it...the first thing is always medication like finasteride and minoxidil and other non surgical therapies but you are just 17 so i don't know if a doctor would prescribe that....but its good that you have noticed it sooner than later and trying to find a solution to fix it....

They all got to NW2 around 30 and then around 50 or so to NW3, but, as you may be able to tell from the photo, my hairline is very uneven. On my leftside I have no/minimal hairloss, while on the right it’s a NW1.5-2
