Dr. Das | Eugenix | Dec 10 and 11

Hello,

I am under doing my hair transplant surgery today with Dr. Das. She reassessed my hairline and expected to do around 2800 grafts for the frontal part and she seems bit hesitated to do some crown work. But I’d like to get some work done in the crown as it is clearly evident that I’m bald there.

Note: Due to cancer history, I’ve been advised by specialists to not take finasteride/minoxidil.

This is one of the main reasons I wanna get some work done in my crown as I know it won’t get any better.  What do you guys think I should do? 
 

do you think the hair grafts estimation for proper density to my hairline?

Is 2800 the max donor being taken? I'd think some crown work can and should be done, but most of the grafts should be focused on the midscalp and front, with the crown receiving relatively less work. It likely won't be perfect, but I think it could be improved a bit.

Suggest you discuss your crown concerns further with her as she has the most experience.

This is the markup they showed me. I’m not quite sure and would like to get some on the mid scalp. Do you think I should discuss on this further for the mid scalp?

One thing about Eugenix is that they are masters of using an economy of grafts for great coverage. Definitely communicate your wishes though to Dr Das. Wishing you all the best and I look forward to following your journey @gawwdd.

I would 100% discus your wishes and concerns with Dr Das. 

I would also look at being as conservative as possible with your hairline so you can get good density overall.

Update:

I am on my 2nd-day post-hair transplant. Everything looks clean and good so far. I received my pre and post-hair transplant pictures from the eugenix. I will share them with you all soon and update my whole experience and the hair graft count and so on.

Hi best of luck with everything..I’m just curious on behalf of us all here on the forum ..what specialists are you referring to and did they suggest fin/minox can cause cancer ??? Please expand a little on this point you made with your original post thanks
