  1. Update: I am on my 2nd-day post-hair transplant. Everything looks clean and good so far. I received my pre and post-hair transplant pictures from the eugenix. I will share them with you all soon and update my whole experience and the hair graft count and so on.
  2. This is the markup they showed me. I’m not quite sure and would like to get some on the mid scalp. Do you think I should discuss on this further for the mid scalp?
  3. Hello, I am under doing my hair transplant surgery today with Dr. Das. She reassessed my hairline and expected to do around 2800 grafts for the frontal part and she seems bit hesitated to do some crown work. But I’d like to get some work done in the crown as it is clearly evident that I’m bald there. Note: Due to cancer history, I’ve been advised by specialists to not take finasteride/minoxidil. This is one of the main reasons I wanna get some work done in my crown as I know it won’t get any better. What do you guys think I should do? do you think the hair grafts estimation for proper density to my hairline? I will keep updating this post on the progress.
  4. Update: My surgery me schedule for Dec 10th (today) and Dec 11th (Tomorrow) with Dr. Das. Will keep you all updated on the progress. Do you guys think I should get some work done in the crown as well? They reassessed my hairline and decided to do the whole front with about 2800 grafts. I’m happy with that but I’d like to get some work done in the crown as well with around 800 grafts. What do you guys think about that?
  5. Thank you for sharing your journey and it looks like the job has been wonderful from Eugenix. Were the accommodations included with the package, @general-etwan? I am planning to opt for the exclusive package as well.
  6. Hello everyone, This platform has given me a tremendous amount of information to make my decisions and I am extremely grateful for it and for all the wonderful people who have shared their journey on this platform and continue to do so. It is greatly appreciated. I will keep adding information to this thread, share my journey with everyone, and do my bit. I am planning to schedule my surgery for the second week of December. I have a few questions before I book my surgery with them. I hope some of the veterans who have had their hair transplants at Eugenix can help shed some light on those. About me: I am 28 M of Indian descent (Norwood 4 scale). I have been quoted to require around 400-4200 grafts for the whole head. I am planning to opt for the exclusive package and get it done by Dr. Priyadarshini Das. I see that Eugenix has a number of branches all over India. The most popular ones I believe are the Mumbai and Gurgaon branches, I am okay to travel to either of the locations. If I were to opt for a branch, which one should I choose? Also, I know that techs do most of the grunt work after the planning and hair slits. So I want to choose the branch that has the most experienced techs so I know I am in safe hands. I'd appreciate any advice and anything else you wish to impart to the fellow person who is about to embark on this journey with all of you.
  7. Thank you! Was planning to do that. Just weighing my options on the clinics and choose a best one out of everyone.
  8. Sorry, I forgot to ask this in the original post. Is my donor area good enough? and How many grafts would I need to have a good illusion for full head of hair?
  9. Hello everyone, I hope everyone is having a great start to the week! I came to know about this community through the Reddit r/hairtransplants forum and it's wonderful to see the help and advice given to users from the people in this community to those who wish to get a hair transplant. Background: I am an Indian male and a cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in Nov 2020 and had my last chemotherapy at the end of May. My hairline was not great before cancer but chemotherapy did not do any favors either. Baldness in our family, my dad and grandpa are bald. But my brother, cousins, and uncle all have a great set of hair. Now, I am planning to get a hair transplant in the month of December and I have some questions before I embark upon getting one. Questions: I am a uni-baller. Does having one testicle reduce the amount of DHT levels produced? Will it reduce the impact caused to hair? Due to my health condition, the doctors have advised me not to take any medications that will alter hormone levels such as fin/min. Is it worth getting a hair transplant without taking medications? It has been more than a year since my chemotherapy treatment. As chemotherapy significantly messes with hair follicles. Is it safe getting a hair transplant now after a year? I am from the city of Bengaluru in India and preferably would like to get my hair transplant done in India but open to suggestions. I'd appreciate any recommendations on hair clinics. Thank you for taking the time to read this and for your advice.
