10 month update 2428 Fue grafts

Jan 31 2022, I had an fue procedure at La Fue hair clinic by physician Jacques Abraham in Pasadena. I was quoted for 2800-3200 grafts but could only afford 1700 grafts. He then surprised me by  throwing in an extra 728 grafts no charge. That told me how much he actually cares about results which is great. He normally charges $6 a graft(now $7) so with the discount I only paid $4.2 a graft. He’s very skilled when it comes with placing softeners infront of the hairline which helps create naturalness. I plan on adding some density on my left corner of the hairline and lowering the right side of my hairline about 2 millimeters for my next procedure. But I’m satisfied with how it’s turning out . I noticed the biggest jump was from month 4 to 5.

Do you guys think I need temple work on my right side ? Thinking of bringing that area more in to frame the face better.

Incredibly nice of that doctor to give you nearly 800 grafts for free. That's unheard of. The results look great. I've read that the right temple is always more recessed first than the left when it comes to male pattern baldness, so that might be on purpose by the doctor to leave you with a little thinning or recession to  make it look the most natural. Also, I'd enjoy this hairline for a a number of years first before thinking of having another surgery, and to see if the rest of your hair thins out, consider taking medications to protect them.

Yea I was stunned when he surprised with those free grafts. That great advice, if my hair loss progresses, it’s better to reserve those grafts for the future that i will mostly need.

I think your hair looks good. I’ve seen this clinic do a lot of internet celebrities, good to see an actual review.

Thanks. Glad to be the first of many

Just catching up to on my previous posts. Awesome result, congrats! I was considering this group myself and chickened out given the lack of forum reviews. If you dont mind, I had a few questions that others may find beneficial:

1) Jacques has an amazing personality and has been super helpful in prior discussions. Did you find that him not being a physician was a problem? Why didn't you choose to go with his brother (who is a MD)

2) Did you do PRP (or PRP w/ stem cells) as they typically advise? Are you on fin/min/dut?

3) What did you like most about this clinic vs. the others you researched?

4) I see that you are still looking for another surgery given your replies on other posts. Any particular reason why?

Thanks ahead of time and stoked for your results!
