Regular Member Malledive Posted November 19, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 19, 2022 I already had a SMP - my goal is to actually wear my hair short ~1mm in the longterm since I will become a NW5/6. I use topical FIN - used oral Fin, RU, Minox since early 20s on/off and in small dosage. My father is bald, so is my brother 2 years older than me, I am 32. We decided to transplant a little bit behind the SMP hairline, will get the dots in front of my hairline removed in the future. I had no issues with scabs at all, used PanthenolD,VitA,VitE spray and started washing and messaging my scalp from day 6 on. So healing process was super smooth. My hair has already fallen out mostly by day 14.
Regular Member Malledive Posted November 19, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 19, 2022 We did 'only' 3000 graft because I am very concerned about scars in the donor area. I want to buzz my hair down, plus will end up very bald either way, medication works, but who knows for how long / without NW, so I want to have the option to have really short hair. Plan for the future, will probably someday visit Eugenix for a beard / chest + some more hair from back of the head for my mid scalp + crown. Thanks for reading :))
Senior Member Gramatik Posted November 19, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted November 19, 2022 Happy growing...Dr Yaman is a good option, so i think you will be satisfied with your result. So you did 3000 grafts in the first procedure in order to get better donor management and you will return after one year for the rest of your head? Regular Member Malledive Posted November 20, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2022 Yea, maybe not after 1 year, depends how it will look like shaven down to ~1mm. But if it turns out pretty good, will go for a 2nd sometime, jup

Regular Member Malledive Posted November 20, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 20, 2022 No, everything. I want essentially wear my hair/all the hair of my head the way I wore it before - no guard shave ~0.5mm. I did the HT because my front was going very thin and the SMP did not see realistic at this point anymore in the front area..
Regular Member Malledive Posted November 22, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 22, 2022 Hi, I am 3 weeks post op - my hair fell out after 12 days or so, I now notice a lot of stubbles in the transplanted area. Is this normal? Did the hair broke but didn't fell out completely? do I have to get the stubbles somewhat out? I thought regrowth starts 2-3-4-5 months in

DanceDad
When you booked with Yaman did you find that the pre op service wasn’t great? I mean no joining instructions, no hotel info and lack of a proper confirmation until being chased?
Regular Member Malledive Posted November 26, 2022 Author Regular Member Share Posted November 26, 2022 I booked myself an AirBnB with friends, so can't really say anything to hotel info etc. But overall everything was very 'basic' but I was never uncomfortable or something. Decent experience.
