I ended up doing lots of research on this forum and subsequent filtering based on results I've seen, licensing, associations, whatsapp consultations. My top 3 were Bicer, Yaman, Turan given they have IAHRS certification. From there Bicer/Turan had no availability - so I decided on Yaman. I am going to visit Yaman later this month. Please share any questions other things I should be aware about beforehand if you have been treated by Yaman.

Unfortunately I did not have the time to wait for Bicer. She is booked until Fall/Winter'23 @NIckJ - Did you get temple restoration? What did you think about the Yaman pen? All hype or was there actual utility?

From my consultations this is what I learned: 1. Hairline consultation, opening channels, no difference all performed by the doctor. 2. Extraction - Bicer will do this at extra cost otherwise all three done by techs. 3. Implantation - All three use techs. Yaman and Turan use DHI pen method. Yaman claims to have a patent on particular DHI pen. All three are a member of IAHRS. Only 5 doctors in Turkey are part of this network. Assuming there is minimal experience/quality to be part of IAHRS.

I've been researching HT doctors in Istanbul for a few months now. After consulting with approximately 10 doctors - I down-selected to 3: In no particular order: 1. Dr. Bicer 2. Dr. Turan 3. Dr. Yaman Ultimately, I decided on Yaman and I'm set to have my procedure in Dec'22. Before my procedure, are there any specific requests I should bring up with my doctor based on other's past experiences? I want to make sure I maximize the results of my surgery.

Considering Yaman. Do you have any before and after photos?

Leaning that way. Also considering Dr Yaman - but as I'm learning more about Dr Yaman, looks like the nurses perform extraction and implantation. Doctor primarily oversees operation. Only worry with Dr Demirsoy is lack of reviews/pre-post op photos in this forum. Also, his Google reviews are the worst of this group of doctors. Unsure what to make of it.

Following Those are all the doctors I'm considering as well. Unfortunately, due to availability only Demirsoy and Gur are my options. Rest are booked until next year.
