Ruehlmanmj
Hi there ! I had FUE 3200 grafts extracted exactly a month ago . I’m curious if you think I’ve experienced over harvesting in donor area or if I had shock loss possibly ? I am worried thanks for any help (I had beard brows and small area of hairline transplanted and they all look wonderful but so worried about this moth look )
Senior Member Ryan Daniel Posted October 27, 2022 Senior Member Share Posted October 27, 2022 Hey, It looks like the graft extraction wasn't spread out enough but rather congested.. however for some people the donor area shock loss always happens in the first month. I've had it. Come back again next month with a photo like this with the same haircut length and you will know if you were overharvested or not Good luck
Regular Member Pbaird98 Posted October 27, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted October 27, 2022 Can you post some post op pics bro? Could be either shock loss or over harvesting, even a combo of both, difficult to tell.

Moderators Al - Moderator Posted October 28, 2022 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2022 If this is the before picture, I'm puzzled as to why you had a hair transplant. In any case you may have some shock loss and you will have to wait several months to see how well the donor area heals. 1 Al Forum Moderator (formerly BeHappy) I am a forum moderator for hairrestorationnetwork.com. Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted October 31, 2022 Valued Contributor Share Posted October 31, 2022 Looking at the immediate post op pics of the donor where was the recipient area? The only thing is to wait and be patient as your hair grows out. All the best.
