Anyway, back to business, another question; you said Smile Clinic Instagram pics showed poor quality transplants, I’m finding it difficult (and this is showing my inexperience) to see the difference between good and not so good transplants. I know the real train wreck ones are easy to spot but I wouldn’t have said Smiles ones looked that bad, considering they must be choosing only the best ones! 
do you have examples of poor vs quality?

In my opinion they are bad at making it look natural because of poor hairline design, usually they make it unnaturally straight, a natural hairline is not perfectly straight and even. I also think it sometimes looks pluggy, they do plant too many multiple grafts in the hairline, its only supposed to be singles, usually you get a few doubles aswell but with too many 3s or even 4s it will look pretty bad.

From here you wont see any Smile reviews because this forum is all about quality work. They also seem to in case a transplant goes wrong, they block people etc on their social media and stop respond as I have seen people write in Facebook groups.

Yes not keen on the ruler  straight hairline, I’ve always had an M and plan on keeping that to an extent.

In the operation there are 3 major steps of the surgery which are incisions step, extraction step and implantation step. Incision step is the first step of the operation and it's performed with sapphiere blade by Dr. Yaman. I checked with the clinic and they confirmed that Dr. Yaman will make the incisions under the DHI package.

The day potential patients start putting budgets last and consistently great results first is the day when this industry will begin to improve for the better. The cheapest surgery is often the most expensive cost in the long run and hair transplantation is all about the long run.

My first operation with him was in early March 2020, and at the time, I was between a Norwood V & VI. First I had a consultation with Dr. Yaman where we discussed my hair type, my donor area, the hairline design, etc. His assistants then prepared me for the operation, and the operation began with Dr. Yaman administering the local anaesthetic and opening the channels (for 4,470 grafts) entirely by himself. The extraction team then took over, and the implantation team followed using Dr. Yaman’s patented Yaman Implanter (a device similar to a Choi pen but with no moving parts). Dr. Yaman checked in frequently during the extraction and implantation stages and carried out a final inspection once the implantation was complete and before bandages were applied to the donor area. Initially I was concerned that the results might not meet my expectations because I have thin hair, but the results exceeded my expectations and I was thoroughly satisfied - again, I was between a Norwood V & VI. I decided to return to Dr. Yaman for a second operation in 2022 once COVID restrictions on travel were relaxed to improve the density.
