Samiy
Hello there guys, I have been following and researching for a couple of months. I have been following along in this forum for couple of weeks and read a lot of some of the different journeys. I must say I’ve learned a lot and thanks all for sharing. After contacting several clinics in turkey, I think I wrote to like 7-8 clinics (before I knew something called hair mill clinics) I was about to book with either Vera Clinic or Dr serkan Aygin as i saw that they had won the European Awards in Medicine 2020/21 in hair transplant but than I realized that not many recommended the clinic and was also was called a hair mill. So I have booked with Dr Yaman, after seeing that he is recommend on here and read all the comments about the clinic. Now when the time is coming up I feel little anxious and been wondering how the team is, I’m a little worried because he doesn’t do the whole surgery, only the incision. How is his team? They are not mentioned as much as Dr yaman. I just hope I will not regret this. And I’m not sure which package to choose. The sapphire fue or DHI. And also the DHI is a special Yaman DHI implanter. What are the differences between his and the other DHI used in other clinics? I’m 27 years old and dr yaman suggest to do around 4500 grafts. The cost of the Sapphire FUE 2000$ And DHI with Yaman implanter 2900$. 900$ is a quite difference. What do you guys think? And thanks in advance

And thanks in advance Its a little bit weird marketing, the cheapest package they also use Yaman Implanter. I think the difference is that with DHI they extract say 2250 grafts then implant them, then extract 2250 more and implant them. With the standard package they extract 4500 then implant all in one go so the grafts is outside the body for a longer time. Dr Yaman does pre made slits on his "DHI", usually "true DHI" is not done into pre made slits, the implanter is doing the incision. There are better options out there, for the price maybe not. I would say Dr Demirsoy and FueCapilar is a better choice, but cost a little bit more.

Isn't it mentioned by even some reputable clinics on here and recommended doctors that making pre-made slits and implanting into them has shown to have a better result because the body starts the healing process during the pre-made slits almost like a primer of sorts, and then you can DHI into the pre-made slits so you get the least out of body time. At least that's maybe one way and they can call it DHI etc. Honestly, they have just had in Turkey in particular a run of complete marketing BS to sucker people but they're not alone. Even in the US and other places, they're trying to jazz things up to make it appear "new" as if it's not the same core FUE technique. 1 Follow my first Hair Transplant Journey! Save more and possibly see Dr. Biçer in my opinion. Others may have a good opinion on your Dr., but I'm not familiar with him, so I'm not saying to swap or anything. Remember, a repair job will cost way more money than your original investment so choose wisely on the 1st transplant. If it means holding off/saving money, then that's what I'd do. Good luck with your decision!

Hey Digi, Thanks for reply, I have read your whole journey with Dr. Yaman, thanks for sharing. Your post was actually one of the post I read and diced to book with the clinic. Did he also asked you for which package or? Which one did you go for? I see what you mean about pre slit. But I still doesn’t understand what they mean. Here is a quote from the conversation I had with them as I understand it that if I choose the DHI package they use yaman implanter and if not they will not use it. Don’t know exactly what FUE technique is? 8 hours ago, JoeMan said: 8 hours ago, SadMan2021 said: Do not get a HT if $900 is enough to sway your clinic choice!!!!!!! It’s not that 900$ That sway me in clinic choice. I meant more the package choice, if I end getting the same result why not stick to the cheapest package. That’s why I asked for advice in which one I should choose. I care for the result more but as I don’t know so much about the difference it’s hard to choose. Its not always the higher price the better result. 8 hours ago, JoeMan said: Exactly! Save more and possibly see Dr. Biçer in my opinion. I liked Dr. Yaman’s work and that he only do a low amount of patients per day. And he is participating in some of the procedure, that’s important for me. hair_transplant_observer
Dr. Yaman seems to offer similar/lower price points as Vera and Dr. Serkin- Is his clinic also categorized as "hair mill"? As far as I know Dr. Yaman take less patients pr. day and also he do the incisions, and is listed as one of the recommended Dr in this forum. For other clinics such as Dr. Serkan, they don’t do anything, it’s all technicians. Only consultation and drawing. That’s what I have researched and not something I know from personal experience.
