  5. Hi guys! Here is my update. It's been exactly 1 year since my transplant. The pictures below are styled with blow dryer and cream. No toppik was or concealer was used. Hair length is pretty long Results: The results seems to be okay, will probably go for repair work next year after saving some money. The density is not there, especially in the front. If i dont use toppik, it looks really bad. So basically anytime i have to go out, i need to use products to hide the skin. Which i kinda used to do before as well and was trying to avoid continuing after hair transplant. Some areas where i see density issues in hairline was actually communicated to the Doctor right away after surgery but they said it will all be good, clearly it wasnt all good. I am not saying its a botched job, the results are decent, i have seen good and i have seen worse as well. When i had short hair the results looked very bad, with long hair it doesnt look that bad. I am just concerned with hairline, it doesnt have density as under normal lighting you can see directly through it. There seems to be alot multi grafts in hair line as well. There seems to be some issue with angling of hair as well, my two sides have different angles of hair ( 2 technicians working, one on each side). Which creates it nearly impossible to style hair without using products because they dont sit well and goes opposite of each other. Donor seems to be doing good, no issues there. There has been no follow up or communication from Doctors office either and i didn't bother to contact them either. Overall i will rate my experience satisfied with Dr Yaman, clearly its an improvement from previous situation. Just wish he listened at that time and fixed the issue regarding hairline density at the time of surgery as now i will have to go for another surgery. Feel free to ask any questions!
  6. I think yes its decent and the problem why top part is looking like its missing density is due to angling of grafts. My left side grafts are going back and right side grafts are going on the side which causes a gap in the middle when hair sits naturally. Look at the pictures attached. The grafts are angled to go up, which is causing that side to look like less dense.
  7. Yeah unfortunate, i was on a budget, but i guess with 2nd transplant probably kills the whole point to be on budget lol. for sure the result is okay, with products and styling i can maintain a decent hairstyle. Before it was miserable to do anything. And a little longer hair, probably will cover the density issue as well.

  9. Hi guys! so its been almost 7 months since my operation. I have posted the pictures above under different conditions and different way the hair is sitting. So if i am happy with the result? No, as you can see from pictures the front area is very low density. Under normal lighting i can see the scalp and if i step out, it just makes it worse. The hairline looks natural because Dr Yaman did transplanted behind my natural hair, but its not dense at all. Someone standing in front of me can see through the front hairline. I expected a bit more density considering i did almost 4500 grafts and almost all of them went to front and mid scalp. Furthermore we didnt even bring the hairline down (which i wanted to do at that point but Dr advised me against it). Also because he transplanted behind my existing hair, I have weird hair hanging around in front which i have to shave to make it look clean. Furthermore, not all hair is angling properly.. the right side is going other way and left side is going other way. Which makes hair settling without product very hard, but i have heard it takes a while to hair soften out, so yeah im going to wait on that. So yeah expected a better result for sure. Is it better than before? I will be dumb to say its not better than before, for sure it is. But that is not the point of the transplant. My goal was to go out without doing my hair or applying topic and other concealers. But if i am going out in an event, i have to put products to conceal the scalp(Which is exactly what i was doing before the transplant). SO transplant just made styling easier. 1 year mark. I am still patient regarding the growth, as they say it takes 12 months for full growth. But to be honest i dont see any hairs sprouting, atleast within last 2 month. Most of my growth came from 4month up until 5 month. After that the hair is just getting longer, giving the illusion of density, but no new growth yet. So i am patiently waiting for 1 year mark. Next step. As much as it hurts and i know its soon, but i am mentally preparing myself to for a touchup/repair. Adding density in the front for sure and maybe some in between. Maybe another 1000grafts will do the job? I dont know yet, will decide on it at 1 year mark. Let me know your thoughts or questions. Please dont bash me for having high expectations or not waiting for 1 year mark. As i mentioned i am waiting for it, but people asked for updated and hence i am giving it. We pay money to get a desirable result, if the result is not desirable, we have the right to talk about it. I know for a lot of people its a good/decent result. And i am not saying its worse result out there, just not up to my expectations. But i have time, so hoping for some more growth.
  10. Pictures dry hair after shower in normal washroom lighting. Im sorry, im not sure how to rotate the images. They are fine on my phone..uploading them is making them rotated.
  11. Hi guys, I was wondering if you guys can tell me what bloodwork is needed for hair loss? Just trying to see what i can improve in overall hair health.

I am 2 months post op, and was just wondering when will it be okay to start using those? My recipient area is bit stiff and i dont still i have restored full sensation there yet. Thanks.
