Ohnana Posted January 7, 2022 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Hi Guys, I had my hair transplant less than 2 weeks ago and have a vaccination appointment. Can this have a negative effect on the result? That said, me personally, I’d for myself wait at least a month before risking potentially getting sick. Getting sick is simply not the ideal environment for newly implanted grafts. Regular Member Smacias15 Posted January 12, 2022 Regular Member Share Posted January 12, 2022 (edited) Well I had a vaccine shot back in 2012 when I was going to Costa rica, forgot which one, but it was to prevent death or illness form mosquitos. And about a year later, my hair started to fall out in chunks, including my eyelashes, beard hair. It was like shock loss. Most grew back but I have always wondered if it was due to that vaccine shot I took a year prior. I'm not sure how long vaccines stay in the body so I may be over thinking it.
