Hair Angles

As I look at hair transplant results, am I wrong in that depending on the surgeon, the hair might be angled differently to create the illusion of density?

For example to me it looks as if Bisanga and Lorenzo send the grafts forward, while Eugenix and a recent post from Felipe Pittella (on an NW7) show the grafts being angled more to the side (left to right).

Am I hallucinating (LOL)?

SLA,

While there are different techniques in making recipient area incisions, follicular units are typically angled and placed in the same direction as the patient's natural hair in order to mimic nature and appear more natural.  Without seeing examples of what you're referring to, I would imagine any difference you are seeing in the angles and direction of hair has more to do with the patient's physiology or even their hairstyle.

Thanks- when I look at Felipe Pittella’s examples posted under the photos posted by surgeons, seems to be much more of a left to right angle rather than send the grafts forward.

maybe my mind is playing tricks on me :)

what do you mean by "left to right"? so all the grafts are angled in a way that - in their default position, the hair is all angled towards the right side?

that sounds fantastic if the patient desires a hairstyle (and will desire a hairstyle for life) that has the hair pointing in that direction, but if the patient wants to style their hair to the left side that could cause issues.

please clarify if I am not understanding correctly, thanks
