Senior Member sl Posted December 9, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted December 9, 2021 From personal experience and with many patients, it usually comes in about 5 days or so post FUE and can last a week, worse at night also for me and patients as the norm. It will subside and pain killers, cold aloe vera, vit b etc all usually help... I represent Dr. Bisanga. Dr. Christian Bisanga is recommended on the Hair Transplant Network
Senior Member pkipling Posted December 9, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted December 9, 2021 The pain I experienced in the donor area in regards to the extraction sites was actually extremely minimal and I barely remember it all. That's how insignificant it was. However, I did experience bursts of nerve pain/irritation in the donor area that lasted a couple of weeks. From what I gather, this isn't something that's super common/to be expected, but it's also nothing to be alarmed about either. When people mention donor pain post-op, I think this is mostly what people refer to - and it typically resolves itself on its own fairly quickly. 1 I am a patient advocate for Dr. Parsa Mohebi in Los Angeles, CA.
