bigmac22
Got a skin fade last week and also the pics are under very heavy flash, but i want an honest opinion on whether my hair is thinning on the donor area or not(possible retrograde allopecia?) Valued Contributor Gatsby Posted September 1, 2021 Valued Contributor Share Posted September 1, 2021 To be honest it's very difficult to tell due to the hair cut design and the photos. Senior Member Britanium Posted September 1, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 1, 2021 Difficult to say, if your worried then I would suggest seeing a dermatologist they could examine your hair.
Senior Member ML488 Posted September 2, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2021 Yes in my opinion you have slight retrograde. It is evident above the ears most where you can see the lack of density. You can still be a HT candidate of course, but your donor capacity will be less. Senior Member LaserCaps Posted September 2, 2021 Senior Member Share Posted September 2, 2021 Let your hair grow for 2-3 weeks without cutting and repost. This might just be a haircut issue. I am more concerned about the redness if your donor. Is it itchy? Have you visited a dermatologist? All else looks fine. Pls post photos of your entire head. I think you are dealing with contrast issues and nothing else. Patient Consultant for Dr. Arocha at Arocha Hair Restoration.
