Minoxidil - Before or After FUE HT

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I am planning to get FUE HT done in around 3-4 months time.

I have been getting mixed advise from HT surgeons regarding the application of Minoxidil before HT

I believe the application of Minoxidil should be started after the HT.

What about before HT ? Is it a good idea to start applying it now ?

It’s always a good idea to start preventative medication beforehand.

It appears that you have time to start now however be sure to check with the surgeon you end up choosing as to when they want you to stop the medication prior to your surgery date.
