Has my crown started to thin?

Not really, no. That's a good sign. But ultimately hair loss is progressive. That being said it could be another 3 years before it starts looking a lot worse or it could even be another 6-8 months for all we know. But it will happen. That I can guarantee unfortunately. Oh p.s. - I wish I had your hair

Yea you're thinnning. The minoxidil with thicken and strengthen your hairs while you have them, but it won't stop the reason they are thinning, which is DHT. For that you'll need to see a doctor about starting finasteride.

Did you see my photos from two years ago and do you think i am progressing fast?

Looked back over them, loss looks about the same. But hair loss is like the stock market, past performance is no guarantee of future results. Going forward when you're taking progress pictures use the same angle and lighting, preferably in the same room, so you have a good reference history.

The first photo is from right now, the second is from August 2019.

The photos were taken with lamp off, only with the flash of camera. Does this light create a fake impression of how my hair looks or does it look real?

Its more the camera angle than the lighting. For each time you take progress pictures, take a pair from these angles below, same room and same lighting. This will help you track your loss better by helping you take into account how the lighting reflects off the curvatures of your head.

You’re definitely thinning, are you on finasteride or minoxidil?

Not, yet.

I tried to take a picture from the same angle and light (as much as possible of course).

The 1st photo is from now, the 2nd from Nov 2019.
